I like it FOR the G.I.T. SOLOING!,

This review is from: Haji's Kitchen (Audio CD)
SCREW THE GUY who said the "G.I.T. style soloing" ruined the songs... I AM SO SICK of hearing people say "Play for the song, man! The song doesnt need that!" MAYBE THE GREAT PLAYERS of HAJI's KITCHEN WANTED the songs to be like that!!! I HOPE their new album HAS SICKER shred than this Cd! From what Mr. Eddie Head says, it looks like it WONT (BOOOOOOOOO!) Look at DREAM THEATER'S "Scenes from a memory" album! They did a Pissy sell out album (Selling out into infinity) and came back with a SHRED FEST unlike no other! Please keep shred alive. I dont wanna be the last of the "32nd note Mohicans."

This is pure greatness!,

I have had this cd for awhile. Just want to spread the gospel. I am from Dallas, and this is by far the best band around the area. They do not get the credit they deserve. Glad to see they will be having a new cd coming out soon. Can't wait. If you like crafy guitar work and crunchy riffs, this is it. Thank the man upstairs for Haji's Kitchen!

Alice in Chains meets Racer's X !!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Haji's Kitchen (Audio CD)
Superb musicianship should sum up the entire album !! The entire band is really progressive, and they even have bass solos and drum solos on the album ! The guitar work is really something, with hook laden riffs and catchy grooves. It sounds as if the band is using 7 string guitars, as some riffs are REALLY heavy and Korn-y (excuse the pun). The vocalist has a distinct style, much like Layne Stanley from Alice in CHains. AT times, they sound kinda grungy, but the guitar work makes this album sound like METAL !! Listen carefully to the articulate drummer, as he fills up every single roll and every single beat !! When you see Shrapnel, you see quality, and Haji's Kitchen is definitely what I'm looking for.
