I must first admit that I am biased about this book, because I personally know the author. However, even if I did not, Narjis has written a lovely journal and memoir of her Hajj experience. Narjis has a very poetic style of writing, but this journal is a compilation of her objective experiences and her feelings and emotions about her Hajj experience. This is an excellent book to read to gat a good idea of what the Hajj is all about and practical matters, as well as how one might feel on making the Hajj. A lovely book for Muslims, and for non-Muslims to learn about one of the 5 pillars of our faith.
