I had never even heard of HALE before walking into Tower Records in Manila. I was actually on the prowl for a CD by another local band, True Faith. But when the sales associate recommended this CD, I said, "why not?"....it was one of the best decisions I made. This CD is packed with song after song that could easily be on the radio with some of the top artists in the USA. If I were to compare them to some bands from around here I would have to say maybe Cold Play, Maroon 5, something like that, but they are very unique in their own right. Sure $24 bucks is expensive for a CD, but with import charges and such, I could certainly justify the splurge. There is a song in Filipino on the CD and it actually turns out to be one of the better songs to listen to. I have no idea what they are saying, but that is what is so fun....it seems to never get old because of it! Most tracks in this album are in English, and again, the songs are dynamite! Enough said...if you can listen to the first 30 seconds of any of the songs anywhere, do it. You won't be sorry.

I bought this album while I was in Manila based on the recommendation of a Philipino friend. What a wonderful surprise I had when I came back to the hotel and listened to the cd. This album is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it.
