bought this dart board about a week ago, and its pretty much what i expected for the price. first, the darts that come with it are pretty low quality. i broke 4 of the 6 plastic shafts the first night i played with them. after about a week of heavy use on the board (3-4 hours a night) the spider (metal wiring) is very heavily bent making the board pretty much unplayable. seems like it would be okay for lighter use, but if you are buying it for more then just light use, you might want to invest in a higher quality board to get your moneys worth.

The board is wonderful, but it's heavy and mounts on a single bracket. If your walls are not sturdy the bracket will pull out quickly once the board is hung. I had to make a mounting board which I nailed to the wall. The bracket mounts to it instead of directly to the wall. Other than the extra mounting efforts it's a great product and we use it all the time.

The board itself is pretty high quality for the entry-level price. Will certainly last months (years?) of frequent play. Comes with everything you need to mount it (minus the hammer and screwdriver, of course). The pre-packaged darts are not so hot, but anyone experienced enough to notice the difference will probably have their own set anyhow. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Not only is this an extremely low quality board, but I can't get a refund or contact the seller!
First of all, the darts broke apart easily within minutes of use. The tail things have to be put on after every single throw
Next, the board appears to be cracked all over.
And the darts LEAVE THE HOLES IN. THERE IS NO 'HEALING' OF THE WOOD.
THE BACK OF THE BOARD CONSISTS OF ONLY A SINGLE HOLE IN THE MIDDLE.
THE NUMBERS ROTATE AROUND, BUT THE METAL COMES LOOSE EASILY BECAUSE OF THE LOOSE SCREWS
ALL IN ALL, I GIVE THIS A 0.5 OUT OF 5.

I should have read the reviews before buying!!! Where do I start?

The good - it looks like a real dartboard.

The bad - The darts are such low quality that I guarentee that you will want to replace them immediately. One of the six darts broke within minutes of playing. The dartboard itself looks and feels like a decent board however I have had it for just over two months now and the wire rim is coming out of the board. This started to happen within a couple of weeks but I could just push it back in with staples that attach to the board. However the wire is now bent and won't push back in so the dartboard is useless, cannot be used and is beyond repair. I shall be buying a better board.

If you just want a cheap dartboard that you will keep in the basement and use infrequently - don't waste your money on this one. It's not even that good.

This board is my first real dart board. I was tired of the bent and broken tips that our cheap electronic dartboard was causing for the plastic tipped darts. Also, bounce-outs were fairly common.

This board is a step up from entry-level electronic boards, for sure. The darts that come with it are nothing special, but they work. There are still occasional bounce outs, but the board is holding up well after about a month of use.

Also, nothing beats the nice solid "thump" of a dart landing in the board (it sounds much better than the plastic-on-plastic from our old board).

This is my first Dartboard (and hopefully, the last). The Dartboard, itself, is phenomenal. Couldn't ask for more. The instructions? Are horrendous. You gotta have at least 20/20 to read the thing, although most people buying this will probably know what to do with it without having to read the instructions; but, I am not one of them, so...had to deduct a start for having to go online to figure it out. For the rest of you geniuses out there, this Dartboard is awesome! You won't be disappointed.

This board works well with steel and soft tip darts. My board has seen some significant use since I bought it and it shows very little wear. It self heals itself well. The wire is round so there are bounce outs if you hit it directly. That just indicates to me that I need to practice more. The bull and the double bull are made of the same material. I bought this board to use on my deployment to Afghanistan. I like it so much that I'm going to take it home with me. The only down side is that the darts that are included are very cheap, and will break easily.

The metal sticks out to much. I bought two boards and within 3 or 4 times playing the metal starting coming out

Gave this gift to my brother and he really enjoys it. Good design and construction.
