For a serious casual table tennis player, a common frustration is when balls develop cracks. I had been using the kind of cheap balls from the toy store until I upgraded to these. I find that the life of these balls is easily 10 times that of the ones I had been using until now. They are well worth the few extra dollars.

Love these Ping Pong Balls! This have great bounce and durability. I have even pinned one up against a wall with my paddle hard and there was no damange what so ever to the ball afterwards (no dents, cracks, or dead spots). I play very hard, and slam often against the table and surrounding walls and after putting these through my tourture, they hold up extremely well.

I've been using these balls for a lot of years. They are extremely durable, and they feel like your hitting a rock. If you're the kind of player that loves the feel of the sweet spot on your paddle, these balls are "the bomb." They last, and last, and last - despite numerous slams and they are very fast!

I was not expecting much from these balls for the price I paid, but I was pleasantly surprised. I can tell the difference between these balls and the ones I paid almost $2 a piece for, but they are as good as most that I play with. I still have not broken one yet after 3 months of playing about 5 hours a week.

I've been playing ping pong (table tennis) for years now and have come to expect a lot out of the balls. There is a noticeable difference between 1-star and 3-star and I'd recommend for anyone out there to use 3-star balls whenever possible.

Some people may have an issue with these balls being white and therefore sometimes hard to see, but if that is the case then just go with the orange Halex 3-stars.

I noticed that one of the recommended tags for this is 'beer pong'. If you need balls for beer pong just go with the cheapest you can get ;)

Bought 3, 6 packs (white). We play almost 2-3 hours everyday, none of them broke even after a few hundred smashes.
We checked the weight (2.67 gms) and the diameter (40 mm).
Only complaint is its hard to see the ball once it gets dirty. Would buy orange balls next time.

They bounce just fine. It's nice to have plenty of these since they always seem to get lost in the basement!

I am a recreational player and find these table tennis balls to feel and behave just as good as other more expensive 3 stars table tennis balls. I have been using them for over a month playing a few games a day and they hold up very well.

great ball for ping pong. lasts a long time before it breaks. actually it takes quite a beating before it cracks. a little pricey, but well worth it for the performance.

The Halex pro series ping pong 3- star ping pong balls arrived in good condition, and are a fine selection for type and weight.
Although, they seem to be slightly larger in size that the ones we are used to using.
I might suggest a 4-star ball in the future.
