Book Description

Question For You:
What the hell are you doing?

If you want to win the war on belly fat, lose weight, and get six-pack abs, then forget about playing "The Hunger Games" or Hocking up whatever crazy weight-loss diet you started.

There's no way you're sitting around counting calories and figuring out exactly how you're gonna burn off that cookie and all of that stupidity...

Don't you have a life?
Maybe it's not like a Danielle Steele romance novel, or like the Girl with the Dragon tattoo, but your life doesn't have to be consumed with trying every fat-burning workout routine just because the newest weight loss book said you should be at the gym all the time.
If you're busting your butt at the gym to look good naked "HALF-ASSED HEALTH" will get you looking sexy WITHOUT all the hassle!!

Sure, there are people who look good naked, but they workout so much they don't have time or energy to live their best life because they're at the gym all day-

What the hell is THAT about?

I understand if you're a "billionaire bachelor" or something like that, but what about a quick, fast and easy workout that actually burns fat all day?

I'm not going to give you all these crazy HIIT routines that other guys SAY they do on camera, and then sell you a bunch of home workout junk.

(Who the hell can do all these crazy "Ab Blasting" and "Shredding" routines all the time anyway?)

When You Buy HALF ASSED HEALTH you'll learn:
  • How To Look Like A Super Hero- Even Without A Cape!
  • The ONLY Moves You Need For Maximum Sexiness-Effect!
  • The ONE Food To Eat To Look Sexy- Inside and Out!
  • The FIRST Thing You Should Do When You Wake Up For MAXIMUM ENERGY!
It is FAR easier than they make it sound, and I promise that if you read this book, and do what it says (only 3 times a week for about 30 minutes), you'll start looking and feeling SUPER SEXY immediately.
You'll look in the mirror, and know that you are on your way to the sexy shape you know is under there, and you won't be doing it by freaking out about everything that goes into your mouth, or by being in sweat pants all day.

You're going to learn to do the LEAST work, for the MOST benefit, LOOK HOT AS HELL, and do it all with: HALF ASSED HEALTH

About the Author

John “Bones” Rodriguez is the hardest working 'Entreperformer' in the world. An Actor, Author and Entrepreneur, he performs all over New York City, and is often recognized from his national commercials, his short films, and improvisational comedy work He is a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Skidmore College. He has written several eBooks including “No More Waiters- How To Build Your Acting Business Without A Day Job”, and “How To Make Money And Have Sex In The Same Room Everyday”. In 2008, he released “Captain Kirk's Guide To Women- How To Romance Any Woman In The Galaxy” from Simon and Schuster. 5.0 out of 5 stars An inspiring kick in the pants July 17, 2011
I've been Bones' friend for several years now and while I appreciate his writing, I had not expected to be as moved by this book as I was. It took me all of 25 minutes to read the whole thing and it was time really well spent. Much of the factual information presented in the book I have encountered before, but John's presentation reinforced how doable it all is. In the end, that was the most important thing Bones gives us, that being healthy, fit, and, yes, sexy, is doable. It is achievable for everyone, without having to devote your life to that goal. Really an amazing book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun book. And easy to use. June 30, 2011
This is a fun book about a serious topic: your health. Above all, it is a practical book for the non-jock. I presume that the subtitle "How to Look Good Naked..." is the author's tongue-in-cheek way of saying "How to Have the Health and Fitness You Need to Do What You Want to Do...." If that isn't enough motivation, consider the economics: I estimate that if you can follow most of the advice given in this book, you can potentially save five thousand times the price of the print version, or more, on medical costs and disability. The "medicine" goes down easily because the book is entertaining. And it's very useable. Don't just buy it. Use it.

Finally something that cuts to the quick of the matter. Relatively short (thank the Maker), with not a lot of padding and inane waffle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tells It Like It Is October 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is great. I had only read about 15 pages when I realized that HEY! I am "Half-Assed" also.

The book is quite funny; but beyond that it is also a very good and practical guide for sustaining weight loss and being healthier. The author gives many references for further reading and/or viewing, which many authors prefer not to do. He is just so down to earth about things and you can tell he has been "there" (anyone who has dieted/exercised in their life will know what I refer to) like the rest of us. Mr. Rodriguez tells the reader the least needed to get the job done-both for dieting and exercise-and I guess that is what I have been looking for because now this book will always be active on my Kindle.

Extra kudos to him for relating stories of his wife.

5.0 out of 5 stars Revolutionary June 14, 2012
There are moments in this book that blew my mind. From his realizations when fasting to his brilliant idea for counting, Mr. Rodriguez' book takes bold steps in a new direction. His ideas update health and working out for the fast-paced Post-Modern world, while delivering the content in a direct, accessible, comedic tone that makes his book a fun read. If successful, this health routine will be revolutionary.

This is a quick and fun read. Common sense for regular people - if you are a "Gym/Diet Martyr" this is NOT for you. The point is - be successful without killing yourself!
