It can be easily said that Sean has it in his blood, but how would he respond? The answer's found here: Half Horse / Half Musician. This EP has the maturity that most long-time musicians WISH they had! Sean is most definitely a great songwriter, and I will say safely that he writes better than Julian. "Queue" & "Spaceship" are good for people for who (do or) don't have his LP "Into The Sun" (These are radio mixes, but they don't sound very different at all). "Dream" has a thrash core metal sound thats freakishly pumped - and with a rap by Duma Love, it's completely insane. "Heart & Lung" has a folkish lo-fi feel which has a neat ambience. Plus, Sean's vocal on this has real power. "5/8" is an acid jazz-like song, with few lyrics, and lots of groove. "Pyramid" has a very similar flavor to it, but has, in itself, it's own vibe. "Happiness", which is the most enjoyable song I've ever heard, is delightful in its style. And the moog remix of "Into The Sun" reminds me (personally) of "Super Mario Bros." Sean definitely has (as seen on this EP) a broad musical range, something that has only recently been popping up lately in a parade of young musicians. And to think, it's John & Yoko's kid who's leading it.

sean lennon's half horse half musician is awesome! I especially love Dream, Heart and Lung, and Happiness. his music became much more mature than before! Maybe he is the only one who can handle many kind of music in one album at his age. I cannot believe that he just released his first album last year. sean lennon is the hope of our generation.

A great find of an import CD which just recently came to my attention. Being a fan of the Beatles and their solo careers, as well as their offspring, I attempt to collect all music released by them. This, to say the least, did not disappoint. I expected to hear some modern music but recognizable sounds identifiable to the artist. I was amazed by what I heard. Sean is truly gifted. And he has come into his own identity as he proceeds on his own magical journey. Stay tuned for much more to come from this iconic musician for many years.

Lennon's Half Horse Half Musician EP is excellent! I especially love the non-LP tracks "Heart and Lung" and "Happiness".
