I bought this CD based on a recommendation from a friend. I hadn't heard anything by the band and in fact, I hadn't even heard of the band. After hearing this, I'm a fan. The music is great and the lyrics are quite thought provoking. Think the Tragically Hip with a stronger social commentary. It's guitar driven music but these guys actually know chords and how to play their instruments - and that includes a great fhythm section. Stand out tracks would be (for me) Love and Wonder, It's the Beginning of the End of the World, State of Emergency and Weeds. But to be honest, there isn't a song here that I didn't take to on the first listen; it's that good.

They're so good that Marillion (Yes, that Marillion) chose them to open at their 2011 Montreal convention in April. Now that says something about good they are and how far they might go.

You won't be disappointed.
