Pretty Decent,
By A Customer
This review is from: Hall of Whispers (Heirs to Gnarlesmyre, No 2) (Paperback)
I enjoyed this series. It was a lot better than Jefferies "Loremasters of Elundium" series, which got pretty boring after awhile. One complaint about all of Jefferies writing is his incessant overuse of his characters laughing. If they are happy, sad, mad, or just sitting around he has them laugh: "Krann laughed softly", "Garteret laughed, scattering dust", "Erek Shrieked with laughter", etc. It is more irritating (maybe) than the Book of Mormons overuse of the expression "and it came to pass." Somebody buy this guy a thesaurus. The ending leaves a lot of loose ends for further Elundium books.
