Hallelujah is a fascinating song. It's been done over 300 times by various artists. Ms Ravelli does an excellent version and was picked to do the song for Shrek. I recommend this version, too.

Loved it but her diction isn't as well as I would like. It was hard to find a women singing this song.

I purchased this from the MP3 store because the short bit on the clip sounded lovely. The tempo, key, background instruments, the singer's voice, the arrangements, all are gorgeous and if she could pronounce the words it would be one of the best of the versions of Hallelujah. The problem is this lady does not speak a word of English and she destroys the lyrics with her exaggerated mispronunciations. It would have been beautiful sung in her native language instead since she can't pronounce the English words and I would have given it rave reviews if she had performed it that way. I am sorry I purchased this MP3. Even though I know this song's lyrics like the back of my hand I could not discern what this singer was singing most of the time and that made it too distracting to listen too. There are much, much better productions of this song.
