Of all of the music, Gospel or otherwise, none is as edifying or motivating as that of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. This album is the epitome of excellence in worship, praise, honor, glory, and proclamation of the Good News. A real treat...you don't know what you've been missing. You can't listen to the whole thing without dancing, shouting, and weeping at least once. God bless this work, this choir, and this church. To God be the glory!

Packed full of soul-stirring arrangements, this album makes the spirit soar. You've never heard "How Great Thou Art" or the "Hallelujah Chorus" sung quite like this before! There's also a wonderfully emotional rendition of "I am Not Ashamed" that is not to be missed. The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is at the top of their powerful form on this album.

If you are interested in Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir this CD is a good place to start but it by no means is an adequate sample of their best efforts. If you own other recordings by this choir you will long for new (not recycled) songs.

I am incredibly impressed by Mrs. Cymbala's fusion of traditional African-American gospel music and themes with contemporary praise-and-worship arrangements. The albumns "High and Lifted Up" and "Praise Him LIVE" should be next on your list if you are inspired by this CD. I am.

This is a wonderful collection of songs sung by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. I don't believe that How Great Thou Art and the Hallelujah Chorus has ever been released until now. This album is great!

Thanks again to Brooklyn Tab and the endowment of Grace that the Lord continues to bless them with. This CD is great if you want to prepare yourself for worship unto the Almighty. Listen to the words and let the songs minister to your spirit.

This is a very balanced CD which gives a summary of previous albums. I am however super blessed by the song "I'm Clean", with one of my favorite Brooklyn-soloists, calvin Hunt. he's such a passionate and moving singer. I'd love to hear him perform again with the choir. It seems as if every album he sings a solo part in, is loved by many persons around!!

This is my first Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir CD, and I have to say it is absolutely wonderful. I'd say the first half is probably a bit stronger than the latter half of the CD, however, the interpretations this choir puts on some songs is absolutely amazing, and extremely creative. I can see why they are so popular.

The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is perhaps my favorite Christian singing group.. I keep a CD on when doing work around the house and I usually have a CD of theirs' going on Sunday mornings while we're all getting ready for church.. I love "Almighty" and their rendition of "The Hallelujah Chorus"...

Inspiring and spirit-filled! God used it to lift a heavy burden that day (and many days since). Because of the tape, the next time we were in New York City (because of surgery at Sloan-Kettering) we found out that there was a church where this music was recorded. I purchased this CD to get a good sampling of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, one of the best known church choirs in the nation. It is clear why they are so popular with the arrangements on this album. If you appreciate good choir performances, this is not a CD you will be disappointed with.
