Imagine this. A man wins American Idol, goes on to win a runoff contest against Idol winners from the around the world. Then he goes home, hooks up with other artists in his state, and goes on a ...state-wide tour! Now substitute American for Norwegian, and you have Kurt Nilsen. After winning World Idol, Kurt goes home to Norway, and goes on a team tour with local artists Espen Lind (who's now mainly a songwriter, if you've heard Jordin Sparks new album, you've heard his work) Askil Holmes, and Alejando Fuentes, another Norwegian idol. This concert tour was so popular, the audiences demanded a recording, and here it is. Done very nicely, with some original songs by each of the above artists. The album is mostly covers, with quite a variety of styles, from pop to the most hick country you've ever heard outside of the US. These guys had fun doing this album, and you can hear it! And no one felt above providing backup for the other, all four singers harmonizing perfectly with each other. The result? A very nice hip, fun album you'll never get tired of listening to. It's all in English, except for a few calls out the audience and a snatch of lullaby at the end. That's another point. Imagine going out for american idol and having to be able to sing in another language in order to participate! That's what these people do every day. Amazing!

I bought this 1 song only as I love the arrangement and the 4 artists that do this song justice. Leonard Cohen should be honored that this song is now known for its popularity in an animated movie. Very beautifully recorded by 4 very talented musicians. I think the best arrangemnt of this song!
