Fabulous lamp,

This is a beautiful and highly functional lamp. The mechanical design is remarkable and allows the lighting head to be placed almost anywhere (within range of the base) at any angle with very little effort. The light intensity is adjustable from fairly low to blazing high.
The only negatives I can dredge up are 1) the on/off/intensity control is inconveniently located on the base and 2) there is some fan noise coming from the lighting head. I also have some concern about how I will replace the fan when it inevitably wears out. I picked up one of these new on eBay a few years ago for about $250. The seller had two or three units and I deeply regret not having bought all of them. I haven't even seen this lamp for sale in many years. Even at this price, I am seriously considering buying another one. |
