This is a great piece of software. I have XP and it was load and go right from the start. It is simple to use and does a lot of tasks too. Unlike other cardmakers - you don't even have to put the cd in the drive (once it's loaded of course...). Even my 70 year old father has made great cards using this. You can import you digital pictures for your cards too. Projects are easily saved to be worked on later if you wish. Buy this product - it is worth the money.

My sister loved the greeting cards I sent to her and her family, so I bought the same Hallmark Card Studio for her. Then, my cousin admired my sister's cards, so we both bought her another one. I have used the 2005 version (very good), the 2007 (not quite as good) and now the 2008 ( I think it's the best).

I was desperate before xmas. I needed a card program that would help me make my own cards with decent clips. This program made my xmas cards look
store-bought. Thanks Hallmark... Now if I could just get the imprinted logo on the flap of the envelope...

Great to have a new greeting card program.
New pictures and new catagories.
Only drawback is less control over changing the graphics and the advertisements on the back page of the card.

Very nice. Though the contrast on cards shown for selection is to light.

I would like to see a preview button for each card displayed before I make the decision to select it.

I BOUGHT THIS TO REPLACE MY PREVIOUS HALLMARK SOFTWARE THAT WOULD NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS XP AND NO DRIVERS WERE AVAILABLE. THIS NEW SOFTWARE INCLUDES CARDS I HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT IN THE HALLMARK STORE. WHAT I LIKED MOST ABOUT MY PREVIOUS SOFTWARE WAS CREATING MY OWN CARDS, BUT THE CLIPART IN THIS VERSION IS TERRIBLE. IT LOOKS LIKE TODDLERS DREW IT. IT DOES HAVE THE ABILITY TO EMAIL CARDS AND ADD MUSIC WHICH IS NICE, BUT I MOSTLY BOUGHT IT TO MAKE CARDS AT HOME SINCE I HAVE TROUBLE GETTING TO THE STORE AND I AM DISAPPOINTED COMPARED TO MY PREVIOUS HALLMARK SOFTWARE. IF I COULD GET THE DRIVER FOR IT, I WOULD GO BACK TO IT. I COULD HAVE USED THAT SOFTWARE FOREVER.

This is an excellent product and well worth the cost of the update if you own a previous version. I was about to give up on Hallmark but this version helps making cards fun again.

I have been using the Hallmark Card Studio 2008 for a month. It is very user friendly, and has great selections.

I have the older version of this product, so wanted to update. Has alot of the items from the older version plus a great number of new items and ideas. I have so many things to choose from in designing cards, etc.

I have been using a 2007 Deluxe version of this program for the last year & find it makes card-making easy. I want to give a slightly newer eition of this program as a gift for a friend. So that she & I "are on the same page", i ordered the 2008 (not Deluxe) program & installed it in my computer. Come to find-out, the only thing the Deluxe program differs from this program is something called "photo-Power". I have only tried to use this feature once & found it confusing & cumbersome. In the older version, I installed with limited capabilities. I can see all the cards already created in the program, but if I want to use one, I have to insert one of the CDs from the program. A window opens to tell which CD must be inserted. With this program, once it's installed with the "installation wizard", no need to insert a CD! At times, I have misplaced my 2007 disc container. It turns-up quickly, usually. If I have any complaint, it would be there is no way to make cards to fit "regular" & "legal" size envelopes - only quarter-fold & half-fold. But, the 2008 program has a few more projects hat were not in the 2007 version. I have not tried creating any of them, yet, however.

If you are trying to decide between 2007 & 2008 at similar price, go for the 2008. If you are intending on using photos in your collection to make picture cards & you want to "play" with those phots in the Hallmark program, get the Deluxe version. I have both installed in my computer & not having to insert a CD is more convenient for me. The clip-art on both versions is virtually identical. Most of the cards already created in both programs are likewise. There might be a few more cards in the 2008, but only a few.

I have Windows XP & it works both the 2007 Deluxe & the 2008 with equal ease. The package arrived even ahead of the expected delivery date & in perfect condition.
