I have been using Hallmark products for many years and usually love them! But this software seems rampant with bugs and it is highly frustrating. Some of the issues I am experiencing:

It closes and restarts itself for no reason.

It opens photos and the colors are WAY off - like all pink when there is NO pink in the photo.

After an item is saved half the graphics or text will disappear - all by itself!

This is just not acceptable when I spent good money on this product.
I would not recommend it to anyone.

The registration card said "Registered online and get a bonus collection of birthday card, plus qualify for additional cards in 2010". I did not get any bonus cards. Instead, after completing the registration, I was taken to a page that said "Thank you for registering" with offers to buy Hallmark paper. I sent an email to Hallmark Software Support 14 days ago & have not received a reply.

Also, the function of sending a card by email does not work. When attempting to do this from within the program, the default email program opens (ATT Yahoo Mail) but the avi file for the card is missing-it is not automatically attached to the email. This function was working OK in Hallmark 2009 but is not working in Hallmark 2010. Again, I sent an email to Hallmark Software Support 8 days ago & have not received a reply.

Just installed. Went to Birthdays to pick a suitable card for my bride of 57 years. Went to "Love". The cards I opened had many many errors on them. The word Birthday missing after Happy. Phrases with caps had the caps over the smaller text. If I could get my money back, I would and go back to the 2006 program. This 2010 will be ripped from my computer. Since I bought it online from Hallmark, cannot find a place to lodge a complaint so will eat the $40. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!!!

I've been playing with this software non-stop for days, trying to get my holiday cards finished. Each time I think I've got the design nailed down, I see another I think I like better. There are so many designs to choose from - Hallmark isn't kidding when they say there's over 10,000 different designs. Even so, the organization is great and it's easy to find card designs perfect for any occasion.

My favorite features are the e-cards with sound, the fact that I can use my own photos and that the graphics are high quality. I can't wait to create my own personalized calendar this year as grandparent gifts. I usually pay an arm and a leg with one of the online photo sites and am really excited that I can do it myself this year.

I had no issues with Vista compatability or with installation. A few clicks and I was ready to go!

The software does not print if you have Windows 7. It errors out. I have called support and they are working on a patch. I registered software and did not get any bonus cards.

I ordered from Amazon on 13th, payed extra for Express shipping and recieved it on 15th. Great! Installed program, ready to complete some projects before Christmas with the digital photo editing function and cannot find it in menu. The software claims to have it, that is why I changed my order to the Deluxe version. Start reading in user guide to find what to do, find a footnote included that reads not all versions include Photo Power( the photo editing software). Don't need a program without that, now I am wasting my time trying to get a refund. I thought I could trust Hallmark.

I have been able to install this software, no matter what I try I cannot get it to open or run on my computer. The instillation goes perfectly, but after that...nothing. I would really like to try this software. I don't know if there is a problem with the software I received, or if the software is having a hard time interacting with my operating system - Vista. I am very disappointed because I was really looking forward to using this software.

This was a gift for my wife - - who had been very frustrated, not being able to find a good card making program for her newer VISTA computer. I bought her this program - and she is absolutely ecstatic about it - - she loves it. I am happy to recommend this program - based on my seeing it used almost every day - by someone who understands card programs, and has used them for years. This is the best one yet. If you're considering it, and if you have VISTA or Windows 7 - - then buy it!

Teamed up with Windows 7, Hallmark Studio provides an improved ease of use greeting card program along with a wide range of building blocks for turning out superbly crafted cards. Particularly useful is the ability of the program to produce either single page, single page folded or quarter folded cards from the same design.

I am having so much fun with this software! I've been playing with it for 4 days now and still haven't tapped into all of the features yet. I like that the cards come prefilled with ideas -- but then you can customize them. I've never been a big fan of store bought cards because they are so generic -- but I always have trouble coming up with something original from scratch. With this software, you get the best of both worlds. What I really like about Hallmark software is that these are top-notch cards with professional graphics -- not cheesy clip art. There are lots of fonts to choose from, so the end result are professional looking card rather than something that looks like I slapped it together on Microsoft Word or with some of the free programs that I've looked at.
