I bought this album because I loved the 1987 television special Julie Andrews did in Salzburg, Austria called The Sound Of Christmas. This album features 2 of the songs used in that special: The Sound Of Christmas & Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and the recordings are pure perfection. This album is made up of Christmas songs from all around the world and any lover of Julie Andrews' music or Christmas music should definately try to get a copy of this CD. Her singing here is very good, admittedly much deeper but also much richer and she can still hit those high notes.Any real Julie Andrews fan should not be without this CD.

I have had a copy of this on cassette for many years, and was thrilled to get it on cd as well. Wonderful songs sung by a gorgeous voice! I have other cassettes/cds put out by Hallmark and they're always well done. But this is my favourite.

I had an old tape of this which was destroyed by my puppy. I had always loved to listen to it at the holidays. My daughter helped me to locate it on CD and I was thrilled when it arrived. It came in a timely fashion and was in excellent condtion. I am very pleased.
