Sandi is backed by the awesome London Symphony Orchestra and the peerless orchestrations of David T. Clydesdale. She is in superb voice and each track is a treasure.

There are also three tracks by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir ("O Tannenbaum", "O Come Emmanuel" and "Hark! the Herald Angels Sing!") and three by the Canadian brass and the London Symphony Orchestra ("A Christmas Medley", "Jolly Old St Nicholas" and "Gesu Bambino".

All of the Sandi tracks on this album reappear on her second 1996 Christmas album "O Holy Night!" with the exception of "Ave Maria" (Sandi's "Ave Maria" was re-released on the 2006 Word "Voice of Christmas" album).

This is a quality CD to snatch while you still can (there was also a cassette release). Yuletide Joy

I was first introduced to this album during my childhood (it was on tape) and bought the CD version a couple of years ago. I own most of the Hallmark Christmas albums, and this is one of my favorites. One of my favorite tracks is the very powerful "O Holy Night!" If you like Sandi Patti music you will definitely enjoy the first half of the CD. The second half, featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Canadian Brass, and the London Symphony Orchestra is also excellent.

FYI: This is the album Hallmark released in 1992 as part of their annual Christmas series, if you like collecting them.

I got this at a Hallmark store one Christmas (I think 1992), and it has become the CD that gets me in the mood for Christmas every year! Her version of "O, Holy Night" is without question, the best I have heard. Her voice is pure and not overdone, she just soars!

This is a wonderful Christmas CD. I bought it to replace the one I bought years ago and had worn out. Patti's rendition of "O Holy Night" is fantastic; her voice terrifically powerful and emotive. The orchestral pieces are well done but Sandy Patti dominates the disc with a very satisfying performance. I was happy with the quality of the CD and the prompt delivery also.
