Halloween Costume Large Dog Hotdog With Mustard

I bought both the mustard and ketchup hotdogs for my two corgis. I agree with other reviewers that the sizing is a bit confusing. The large fits my corgis perfectly, and this breed is not typically considered large dogs, so make sure to measure your dogs before ordering. My dogs are about 20-24 inches from neck to tail, and weigh a little less than 30 lb. I have also added a "customer image" up there on this page so you will have a better idea if you are considering buying this costume (and of course to show off my cute dogs...). Since I didn't want to spend too much money but do want to dress them up for the Halloween, I think this was a good choice. And the shipping was fast!

I got a size Large for my 30lb corgi and it almost fits her perfectly - still slightly too small. On the packaging, the sizing chart lists corgis in "Medium" and retrievers and brittany spaniels in "Large", which, in my opinion, wouldn't fit them.

My corgi absolutely hates it though, and has managed to wriggle out of it twice, so keep an eye on your dog when he/she is wearing it :)

We have a lab, who weighs about 75 lbs and is very trim. This costume, while cute, looked very weird on him because it was way too small, and the velcro straps were too short. They should make the bun part larger to fit on the large dog siodes, not on his back. If I had to do it over, I would not buy it.

I was very excited to get this costume for my basset hound, thinking he would look adorable. However, it fits strange. The bun part of it lays down very low... and its hard to see its suppose to be a hotdog. A little disappointing.

We took our minature dachshund, Gertie to Petsmart for their yearly Halloween party that they have for their customers. Everyone could not believe how cute she looked. I read the reviews, because I was not sure what size to get her, since she is a little chubby at 16 pounds. When I read one review, the person made it seem that the costume ran really small, not true. I first ordered the size large, and it was so big, it looked as though it would fit a great dane,(ha,ha). It actually fit her perfect when we reordered it in a size medium. Amazon was so great about returning it and getting the smaller size to us on time for the shindig. This is why we always shop here. My dog hates wearing anything, but the costume looked like she actually liked wearing it. It closes with velcro, so it is easy on and easy off. She sits in a stroller, so it was like having extra padding, because of the soft buns. It is really cute for the money. I know Halloween is over now, but try to buy it for next year, you will not be sorry.

Cute costume, a little flimsy but will do. It's too big so I will have to adjust. People said it ran small and I have a Corgi so I ordered a large but now it's too big. Overall will be adorable for Halloween.

Wow, this thing literally lasted five minutes before my dog had ripped it to shreds. The velcro bands need to be far tighter too. I have an English Mastiff (if you're not familiar, they are HUGE) and there was still way too much slack on the bands for this to fit properly.

I liked this costume a lot, it looked really cute on my Bassett Hound. Seemed a little flimsy but ended up working out really good. Was a hit on Halloween!

This costume looks nice, but the "mustard" is kind of flimsy. It needs to be attached better unless you have a wide dog to put it on. Otherwise, it is nice.

My dog doesn't mind wearing this at all, which is a big plus. And obviously, it gets a lot of compliments. The only downside is that I think it's slightly on the small side. It's ok, since it's just attached to the dog with velcro straps (i.e. not leg holes or something more restrictive), but if you're hesitating between sizes, definitely go up.
