5.0 out of 5 stars Frightening, believable and well written!, December 10, 2008
This review is from: Halloween House (DelMarVa Murder Mystery, #2) (Mass Market Paperback)
The book is perfect for reading on a crisp Fall night in the weeks before Halloween. The characters are described vividly to the point that you can't help but see their vulgar personalities come to life in the form of pure evil. Story moves quickly and with purpose providing an original (something hard to fine in the horron genre) and entertaining reading experience.

1.0 out of 5 stars Scary book!, November 7, 2010

This review is from: Halloween House (DelMarVa Murder Mystery, #2) (Mass Market Paperback)
I bought this book thinking it would be a nice, moderately suspenseful Halloween mystery story. Instead, it was a horror mystery! I had to skip through parts of it altogether, and when I tried to give it to a fellow mystery reader (we are always exchanging books to read), and told her what the book was about, she wouldn't take it home either. I had to discard it! If you like horror, this might be the ticket for you, but it wasn't for me (or my mystery reading friend either.)

Possibly the worst book I have ever read. No real story line, no real suspense - just a cadre of totally unlikeable characters.
