My daughter and I had a lot of fun putting together her zombie costume. The makeup kit was easy to use, and, considering this was a first-time effort, we were really happy with the results. We also bought the tooth color, Death Wheel and additional Stage Blood. It took us a couple hours to get the effect we wanted, but that was more due to inexperience than anything. The instructions were clear and concise. Although, I would have liked a little more guidance for shading the gashes, etc.

My daughter says that the makeup and 3-D effects are comfortable to wear and not itchy.

great kit for the money...easy to use and everything you will need to create simple yet believable special effects makeup. I do suggest looking up you tube videos for more detailed applications and techniques.

BACKGROUND:
For this Halloween i decided to be the horror classic Freddy Kruger. After acquiring my sweater, hat, and claw I decided not to use a cheap rubber mask. Instead, I conducted some research on makeup application and prosthetics to recreate Freddy's face. The kit served my purposes well, but it unfortunately came with only 1 oz of nose wax. So I wasn't able to detail my face to the level I would've liked.

PRODUCT:
This product is a nice all-in-one special effects makeup kit. It comes with everything you need to recreate scarred, burnt, and lacerated flesh. Also, it comes with the sponges and brushes for application. You probably aren't going to save much money buying this kit opposed to the individual products though.

PROS:
Everything you need.
Instructive basic technique guide.
Easy removal and cleanup.

CONS:
Color wheel only comes with steel grey, red, yellow, and a flesh tone.
The amount of each item (ounces) in the kit is not listed.

Works well but I didn't leave enough time to really get a good looking job, but I have plenty left over for next year.

I'm not very good with makeup, so it didn't turn out as nice. It was still very fun to do. The blood was very easy to come off, which I liked because it didn't stain.

The only two problems I had with this kit was the price and the fact the blood smelled like melted down candy. When you're trying to scare people, you don't want them to stop and smell your blood. Unless they're a vampire...
