Great spooky stuff!,

This album is great for eerie vibes, be sure to check it out. The name says it all. What will Paul poop out next? Great noises, and ambient vibes of something gone wrong. Hope to see more of pink anvil in the future.

An interesting, sometimes exciting collage of sounds and off-kilter rhythms...,

Upon first listen, this album may not present much interest to the listener, but with repeated uses the album's structure and rhythms become more apparent and suddenly Halloween Party becomes VERY intriguing. One of the most noteworthy tracks, Rubber Suit Pt. 1, is actually an ode to Gojira (or Godzilla). It's a startlingly well remade version of one of the main themes from the film. Halloween Party is filled with a lot of familiar samples, many of them from horror films, meaning that if you enjoy horror flicks, you may be interested in what Paul Barker and Max Brody have to show you. The greatest feat of Halloween Party is that some of the best parts about it are buried beneath layers- you may find new things with each listen. The more straight forward tracks are rather dark and hard-hitting (downer, desert, near death). Overall, the album is good for those who like ambient music, noise, horror films, and instrumental work that invokes moodiness. If you're looking for a Ministry-like band, you won't find it hear. But if you want something a little different, this may be a disc well worth spinning.

Gnarled layers of haunting eeriness. Truly puts your emotions on edge while taking you on a mental journey through hell. Let your imagination construct the horrible tale. A blend of audio clips, sound effects and musical bits that have the subtlety of a sledgehammer. I hear something new upon every listen.

What is the deal with listening to sound effects? You can't possibly tell me that a normal person enjoys listening to this pretentious garbage. If any of my friends were to play this in my presence I'd be gone.
