This is one of the few books I've paid full price for in a long time. It was worth it. My 2 year old son loves this book, we read it over & over. The sounds are pretty good. We especially like the spooky music & the one with windw blowing. I have tons of halloween books including about 20 board books for my toddler. This is one of our favorites.

when i first recieved the book i thought the sounds were too scary for my 10 month old niece, but when i gave her the book on halloween, she couldn't stop pushing the button. she absolutely loves this book! she is facinated by it! great choice for the curious types!

This is a great little book for getting little ones excited about Halloween. There's a different sound for each page, which is really fun. :-)

I bought this for my daughter when she was 2 months (okay, I bought it for ME because it was so cute). We really started to read it and get into it when she was about 6 months. She would get into my lap and as I would read, she would push the button to hear the sound. She is more into this book/toy than anything else she has. I am buying another one since it is now broken (the button makes strange noises when you push it). I highly recommend it! The sounds are great and the pictures are big and easy to see.

I thought that each of the pictures would have a Halloween sound to have the children associate the picture with. Such as the ghost says, "Boo." But instead, it was just random Halloween sounds. So if you are trying to teach a preschooler Halloween language, I would not recommend this book.

At first I thought the sounds of this book would be too scary for my 1 year old daughter and at first, she was a bit scared to play with this book by herself. However, now this book is her favorite! She loves to push the button and hear the different sounds over and over. I think she is also drawn to the vivid pictures and the glitter used on the pages. Overall this book is a winner for us.

My 19 month daughter LOVES this book. She goes nuts every time she plays the sound effects. Each sound goes with the page you are on, however you sometimes you have to scroll throught the sounds to get the the first sound to start story over. That is if you want to sounds to go with each picture. Great book for intro to Halloween. Has Some glitter pages that make it more decrative as well.

I bought this book for my granddaughter last Halloween, when she was six months old. She loved it immediately, especially the little snippet of Bach's "Toccata and Fugue". She tries to imitate the cat meowing, and grins and giggles when she hears the sounds. Three months later she still loves it!

...unfortunately, my son (18 mos) is not interested in the story, he just wants to press the button to make the sounds. I think the pictures are great and the sounds are very appropriate (nothing too scary). Maybe he'll be more into this book next year.
