Lovely Kwaito Mixes,

I am a big fan of TKZee.I think that Halloween was an improvement from their first album. This album has a beautiful mix of african sounds and european or american suonds. The most loveable song is Sikelela which is in a beautiful african rythym, slow moving and allows the listner to appreciate the language used as well as the way these boys have a laid back way of singin. It can put a smile upon anyones face ,especially if you happen to be South African too. They put a lot of pride into their work.Being yuong boys I think that this is truly a spark in the Suoth African music industry. The lyrics are clean and happy ones not incuoraging violence or drug abuse.Anyone who has not listened to these guys doesn't know what they are missing.Another one of their enjoyable tracks is Bona Senzani in which they used a piano amidst all the other skills. Those two are my personal favuorites among all the other songs which are all truly worth while to listen to.What a lovely album!Well done boys!

This album puts contemporary South African music on the map.,

Exceptional album fusing a cacophony of various music genres into what South Africans lovingly refer to as "Kwaito". The album proves that TKZee is by some margin the best contemporary group in South Africa and has the best chance of globalizing our sensationally rythmic Kwaito melodies.

S.A Kwaito Classic Group,
By A Customer
This review is from: Halloween (South Africa) (Audio CD)
This trio comes as far from PHALAFALA, their single(debut) hit way back '95-'96. I reckon this is their carrer best album ever (I mean HALLOWEEN), it swept (the South African kwaito scenes ) flatout during its realease in 1998, it flew higher above it's peers like Bongo Maffin(AppleSeed, Excellent Ragga), Boom Shaka and all the scums that follow.Rich, Audioliciously-Tight beats, funky rythm for PANTSULA's(S.A Hip-Hoppers) to twist their spine, waists & thighs to the floor In short, this is a must have and a good tastefull introduction to Kwaito if you exposed not, other bands I'll recommend are Bongo Maffin - Final Entry, Boom Shaka - Boom Shaka. Regards.

Kwaito is a new semi "House Music" out of South Africa. For those who like dance music, they should give it a listen. TK Zee (in my mind) is by far the best Kwaito group and "Halloween" is an excellent CD.

Try out this great album from South Africa. I believe that Kwaito has a chance to become incredibly popular through out the United States. It's dance beats are incredible and offer something new to American music.
