3.0 out of 5 stars A fast, fun read!, December 25, 2006
This review is from: Deck The Halls (Harlequin Romance) (Paperback)
from the back cover:

Christmas with the Right Man!

Unfortunately, Holly Hall--driven, hardworking, conscientious Holly--didn't have time for any man. Even one as downright wonderful as Adam Markland. Because it was December, the busiest time of year fo Holly's Christmas decorating service, Deck The Halls.

And because Adam was a bankruptcy lawyer. Holly and her sisters had a special hatred for lawyers....

But Holly wanted to forget the difficult years, salvage the family's ruined reputation. She desperately wanted Deck the Halls to become the biggest success in Dallas. And no man had ever distracted her from that goal--until Adam.

My thoughts:

Cute book. It opens with a lot of activity that makes it hard to follow and inspires that stressed-out feeling that comes from too much pre-Christmas running around. Still, gotta admire the sisters' spunk, and can't help admiring Adam the hunk!

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay but Has Some Annoying Characters!, August 23, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Deck The Halls (Harlequin Romance) (Paperback)
I love Romance books with a Christmas theme but I was kind of disappointed with Deck The Halls by Heather Allison, it seemed no one in the book got along with each other and were constantly bickering. The main characters in this romance book Holly Hall and Adam Markland were okay but I didn't like Holly's sisters. Holly and her younger sisters who all lived together in their family home were constantly bickering and I thought her whiney sisters picked on her too much and blamed all their problems on her! If it hadn't been for that the book would have been more enjoyable! I just though that Holly's sisters were very annoying and their whining and rude attitutes took up too much space in this book and it just wasn't very Christmassy!
