When i ordered this figure i thought i was making a mistake but when it got here i was really amazed at how perfect this figure is. His poseability is just outstanding to a figure like this. What is really amazing is how durable he is. I'm not saying to drop him down the stairs and see if he made it though. In all this figure is just a perfect edition to any halo collection and any halo fan. P.s. the plasma pistol is really small in person,be careful not to lose it.

This figure is very detailed!the entire character looks like the actual character from the game Halo 3!!The shield is a little off with the detail but still an awesome figure. A must have for any Halo collector!!!

This toy looked cool while I was checking Halo Stuff And I'm A Collector so I ordered it and it came a day early in very good condition.So this toy is a must buy in other words.

When I ordered this product I had positive thoughts and negative thoughts about what I just ordered. Only few positives where that the toy was cheap with inexpensive shipping. But I was worried, maby the toy would be to small, there for not very durable, maby if the toy was not very articulated...and so on. But when I opened the package i was very impressed. besides for the trigger holding fingers, the toy is very durable, it also is very articulated(except for the thigh joints which somewhat interfere with setting it in a cool posture). Over all I give this a good rating and recommend it to any hard-core halo fan or ever a child who just got the game and has taking a liking into the fantastic story. Be careful not to loose the plasma pistol though!

I collect Halo 3 items of all kinds. Since I got my hands on a few action figures, I havent been able to stop collecting them. The Jackal is one of my favorite foes in the game, and I had to get my hands on the action figure. It is very accurate in detail, and the shield is really cool looking. I love this action figure and I also have the Jackal with a beam rifle.

The toy was just what I had expected. They are used for a boy to complete a set mostly to decorate his room. It suits it's purpose. As with many action figure toys, the weapons etc are a little tough to keep in the figures hands at times, but overall we are pleased with the toy. It is is a very good representation of the game figure from the Halo video game.

My son asked me to order this toy for him using his allowance money. He LOVES the figure and as other reviewers noted, it's detail and likeness to the game character.

The problems with the toy we received were:

1. Fingers on one hand were already cracked when out of the package.
2. One knee joint was bent sideways and would not allow the leg to bend properly to pose it.
3. One arm was not seated properly in the socket and the arm will not stay up to hold the shield.

We've returned the item, and ordered another. Hopefully the next one will be able to be at least a little bit of an real "action figure", which for my son means posing and rearranging his figures into different positions, not rough and damaging play.

My son (11) requested that I give this toy a 3 star in durability, I would have rated it lower.

This is a really cool toy. It's amazing how much detail they get into such a small figure. Most of it's joints are flexible, both flexing and rotating on many of them. All the joints are tight too, unlike many action figures which aren't so much. That's good so you can use it as a mini pose able statue, which is what I wanted it for.

Only minus sides, I hear it's easy to break the fingers, and as McFarlane stuff is really intended for more adults and made with stiffer plastic, I could see that happening, though it should be no problem for the older crowd. And the shield is WAY to heavy, weighing as much as the figure itself, so it's rather difficult to get a good pose with the shield attached.

Other than that, I love it, and it'll stay on the shelf with all the other weird creature statues and toys I have.

I have several McFarlane Halo 3 toys. As with all of them it looks GREAT!! It is a must have for collectors. But as cool as it looks halo 3 toy line are VERY CHEAPLY MADE. They are not really to be played with by small kids. My halo toys often have defects or a simply broken right out of the packages ,so it is more of a adult toy i think

The jackals are one of the most annoying enemies in the video games, and this toy has brought that quality to life. Yes, it's highly detailed and attentively sculpted. It's also been the hardest of all the Halo 3 figurines to put in a balanced stance. The feet are really tiny and the shield is awkwardly heavy; I find I have to constantly let him lean backward onto a Brute. This is a model that could have greatly benefited from a base, much like the Drone. He's also the strongest indicator that the sculptors sacrifice consistency in scale for a satisfactorily durable model - stand this guy beside a Spartan, and you'll know. His eyes are about level with the Spartan shoulders. In the game they're no taller than the bottom of his ribs (same with Drone, they're way too big compared to human units). And I know it's a trivial matter; I just like things to be consistent.
