5.0 out of 5 stars The Halo Friendlies continue the tradition of all girl rock!
This disc has it all. Punk, rock, new wave. This is the debut album from these L.A. rockers. I'd love to see a tour with The Donna's and these guys! Buy this record now...you won't be sad...you'll be glad and better for it! Girl rock rules!

1.0 out of 5 stars When people think they can rock.
First off lets just say that girls who start bands are really are cool....most of the time,
The album starts off by proving that these amatuers should have had many lessons before ever pressing record on their cheesy recorder,
I'm not one to bash a band but to show a side of the art of music that is often not seen......I was really interested in this band so The...

4.0 out of 5 stars Halo Friendlies Rock !!!!!!!!, June 2, 2002

Okay, if you don't like girl punk rock than no this cd is not for you. If you like the sounds of bands such as "The Donna's", or "The Chubbies" then you will probably like The Halo Friendlies. A little gritty, a lot punk rock, 100% worth it!

I have Get Real, another HF CD, and it's different than this CD. It's better. If you're going to get a Halo Friendlies CD, get Get Real, it's really good.

Well, I have listend to this release by Halo Friendlies, it's pretty cool and contains some nice and simple wavy tracks. What's confusing me a bit is the fact, that the history of the band - as mentioned on the website of the Halo Friendlies - starts in 2001. «Get Real», they also say, is the debut album. But this CD here is from 1998. So my question is simple: How many girl bands of the same name do exist?!

I'm not one to bash a band but to show a side of the art of music that is often not seen......I was really interested in this band so The label I work for sent me to a showcase this band was performing at and the rest in history or should I say a travisty,
they were horribly out of tune and very unsure of themselves,
this band comes off like a joke to me,
Girls get some lessons and then try try try again!
