5.0 out of 5 stars Another Winner, December 5, 2002
By Eldon Ideus (Melbourne, FL United States) - See all my reviews
Another release from one of the better bands I have seen. Live they are truly amazing. This album continues with the sound that has become the band's trademark, a funky style embedded with heavy percussion. Dancing Girls and Halo are classics. The only down side to this album is it is a little shorter than their other releases. What they lack in quanity they make up in quality. You can't go wrong with this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars King Konga , a Band For ALL Tastes!!!!!, February 2, 2002
By A Customer
Kin Konga is an incredible band! It is difficult to find a band that puts true soul into their music these days. You can hear the heart of this band with every song they play. No matter which album you are listening to, this never changes. With many bands, you can buy an of album theirs, and it will be totally different than their next, as far as quality, one being far better than the other. However, this is far from the case with King Konga. Every single album is never changing in quality. I have gotten exactly what I expected to hear with each of them, and that is quality and heart. Every song has a meaning, and every beat makes you smile and want to dance, no matter what you are in the mood for. Their music touches EVERY taste in music. There is no way to describe how good they are. Once you listen to an album twice, you will be hooked, promise! Halo is an awsome album, but once you hear one, you have to get them all!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Why Aren't These Guys International Megastars?, October 24, 2001
By N. Behrend (Alpharetta, GA United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Listening to Halo makes me wish I had goen into the music industry so I could help make King Konga a household name.

It's all about the rhythm section - King Konga intertwine a unique blend of Carribbean rhythms and Delta Blues that results in their own special sound. The title song Halo takes you to the beach and servess up a shot of tequila. All the songs will have you dancing and grooving. Love it!

You will not regret this pirchase and make sure you stick it out on track 6, you will get a bonus at the end!

PS - Go see them live when they come to your town, you will be amazed!
