This was a very beautiful figure. The sculpt is done perfectly, their is very much detail, and he comes with two energy swords. i have always been anticipating a release for an action figure of ripa, and now i got! his articulation is very good as well. his energy swords are a hassle to put back in his hands if you take them out, and the swords are very delicate. the only real problem i've had with him though is that his front fingers can fall off (they're built to be removable) but this may become a problem so i superglued them on. overall a great buy. very durable, very detailed, well articulated, very fun.

UpDaTe: Damn, glad i bought this early. The advertised price (at the time of this update is $88 QUITE REDICULOUS) was only $20 when i bought it. I strongly recommend you don't buy it off of here or anywhere online. I'm sure if you did some hunting at your local toys r us, you could find one for about $10-$20.

first off i'd like to say the arbiter has always been my favorite character from halo, and this one is no exception. he's super detailed looks just like the arbiter from halo wars (which is by the way my favorite halo game). the energy swords broke like two minutes out of the box and glue hasn't done the job, so i glued three of the blades to his arm like the shredder from teenage mutant ninja turtles, so you can imagine how cool he looks now (just in case you get this figure and you decide to do that too, super glue didn't hold it to his arm so i used hot glue). so far both of his hands have fallen off and one foot, but superglue fixed that luckily. the durability on this toy is not too impresive but it's still holding together from being thrown around by me and destructive 3 year old brother. overall it's a pretty good toy but if you want to get something more worth your money get the brute chieftain or hunter toy they give you more bang for your buck. that's about it so good luck and i hope you find the right figure for you.

I have been collecting the McFarlane Halo series for a bit now. I have picked up most of series 6 and 7, with some figures from earlier series. Though, there have been some favorites in the series thus far (Red Team Leader, for example), this new Arbiter is my new personal favorite. He is much bigger than the previous Arbiter figure, dwarfing the spartan figures while nearly as large a a brute, and very well detailed. His armor is silver with gold detailing and his plasma swords are huge. This is how Elites should Look!

If you are a collector of the line, or even just a halo fan, this is one of the must haves. Though this arbiter is slightly more durable than the spartan figures, which are notorious for spontaneously breaking, it is still better for collectors. If you like Halo, buy this.

my arbiter came in more silver than gold, but it has amazing detail. after a week one of his swords broke so i kept it off, it looks better. but the point of the two swords are that it is his signiture. but still very cool looking buy when you get the chance.

This toy you would think for it's price would be good quality.Wrong. The day i got it, one of the energy swords broke. Later as I was tryig to take an energy sword out of the Arbiters hand, the handle snapped! Now six months later, one of the hands is gone and the fingers on the other hand have broken off. The leg also keeps falling off. This toy is pretty much a piece of junk unless you are a collector.

..I bought this toy because the original Arbiter from the HALO's 2 and 3 were too expensive, going at about $100 in some cases. This toy proved to be far more detailed and surprisingly bigger. The toy is made of a flexible plastic that surpasses the other materials used for the previous toys. Since this toy is highly articulated, I decided to pose it right out of the box. To my disappointment, the right foot broke off. A little glue fixed it up right away, however. A few downsides are that the swords are not easy to remove, if able to at all, and the legs are giving just a bit of trouble to keep the figure standing up. Other than the broken leg and a broken sword (after trying to remove it) I would say this toy is worth buying simply for it's incredible detail and articulation. This is a must have for HALO fans, though not recommended for kids that would play hard with this toy. This is a great toy, amazing to look at, but just not as durable as one might think.

He looks really cool with a nice paint job. But his fingers came off almost instantly out of the package,(However I did super glue them back on). And in the frist 30 minutes I tried to take a sword out and the sword broke. He also does not stand well. Other than that, great toy, just be carful.

I just bought this figure on monday and it was the first one that i saw. Picked it up and left. It's an awesome figure overall, and it's better than the series 2 Arbiter. ( Way, way better. ) Nothing happened when I opened it so I knew it was a good choice. Anyways, the Energy swords are too big and they're a pain to put on. But overall best figure in the series. :D

this figure is REALLY cool! he's as big as the brutes and the halo 3 elites! he's the only figure with a dual energy swords, although the e.s. (energy sword)'s might be difficult to put in, but ya just gotta be careful with them, or just keep them in. either way, this figure is pretty awesome, i recommend this figure for those that want an awesome figure and is a hard core halo fan.

I am a collector. I usually buy two of each of these, one to collect and one to display. This one is horrible:

1. Its foot fell off right out of the box
2. I tried removing the sword from his hand. I can't. The sword broke at the hilt (this is with minimal pressure
3. They made the legs uneven or something. But I can never get both legs to the same height to stand it up. Not good if you want to stand up/display.

I am very disappointed, especially b/c all others in the McFarlane Halo line are very high in quality and I love them!

Do not buy (except to leave unopened and collect)
