This product arrived really fast! It was packaged well and was not a used item. My son received this for christmas. His face lit up when he opened the box. He loves Halo III and wasn't aware this toy was available. He loves it, as does his little brother who is constantly trying to get his older brother to let him use it. The toy has not had any issues. The remote control fits into the hand of a child and teen well. There have not been any problems steering. The toy does not speed around at super fast speeds but fast enough to have alot of fun and chase the cats too! The gunner in the back doesn't stay in his position while the vehicle is speeding around, but put him in the passenger seat, next to Master Chief, and pretend they have rid the planet of all the vermin and they are now on a peace keeping mission!
Trust me, the kids don't care and will enjoy this toy for a LONG TIME, if you add a couple packages of rechargeable batteries to the deal.Halo Radio-Controlled Warthog

My son is an avid Halo fan and was truly excited to open this on Christmas morning. Unfortunately, my husband had to tinker with it to get it working to begin with and then after an hour of use, it quit working again. Doubtless we can fix it again, but I it could stand for a quality overhall.

A little difficult to steer, but a great way to pester the cat. The range of the remote control is not great; you have to hold it vertically even though it's tempting to point it at the warthog.

The second spartan is less than fond of operating the gun. Aside from that, the product is aesthetically pleasing and the warthog is reasonably easy to maneuver. So far, seems to be a decent battery life and the range isn't bad. I'd say overall it's a fairly decent product, especially if you're a fan of halo.

Got this for my 7 y.o. son for Christmas. He flipped out! He loves Halo! I hate the language on the game, but these toys are great. He can play with "Master Chief" without the bad language, and he uses his imagination. My boys are pretty rough, and so far, it has held up well. We haven't had any problems with things breaking or malfunctioning (as other reviewers had), and it has already taken a ride down the stairs. The color is a little deceiving, the one we got looks much "dirtier" than on the picture. Our's is not hardly green at all. One problem we have is "Master Chief" doesn't stay standing at the gun in the back, not a big deal, but a little disappointing. Overall though, was a total hit!! It is a toy though, not a collectable.

OK, so it LOOKS cool. My son is 4 and loves it. However, it is cheaply made, the batteries sometimes don't connect and the speed and power are abyssmal. However, it is cheap and looks good on my desk at work. :)

The toy is absolute junk! Within one day of use by my six year old son, the gear had detached from the drive shaft and was unfixable. Do not buy this toy unless you intend to simply set it on a shelf and look at it.

We got this for our sons 8th birthday the other day charged the battery, then he was so excited
when he came home from school to use it, and nothing, the thing started making grinding noises
from the back, wow was he disappointed, so we took it back and got another one thinking maybe it
was just that one, but of course the other one did it to. We bought it at Kmart. So needless to say
I am packing it up right now and returning it for a full refund and going to find another rc car for him.

I ordered this product from Amazon on december 22 and recived a Rocket Warthog with Carter & Noble Six, it's not the normal Warthog. I keep it because i like more this one but is not that pictured warthog with two master chief and turret.

My boyfriend is completely obsessed with all the HALO video games & Books. He mentioned this toy a few weeks before our Anniversary so I drove around the city looking for it. I couldn't find it anywhere so I turned to the internet. I was able to get the toy for cheaper here than anywhere else even with shipping included. I received the toy in about 2 1/2 weeks in the mail. The box it came in created the illusion that it was fairly large but when I opened it, it turns out that the toy itself is actually much smaller than what I had expected. It was packed extremely well and there was not a scratch on the box nor a dent in the thin plastic that allows you to view the toy through it (which is very important for somebody like my boyfriend). I wish I include a picture of him opening it because his face was priceless and he didn't give a second look at anything else I bought him. He immediately set it up. It is VERY quiet for an RC car though the radio waves seem to be a bit weak. He has to walk within a few feet of it to control it well. The figures are absolutely adorable and very well made though the spartan that handles the turret falls off with any little movement the car makes so my boyfriend super glued him. :) Overall, I would say this toy is very well made and very sturdy. It was able to survive several ramps off our stairs and handles fairly well on rough terrain. For any HALO fan, I'd say its a great gift even if it just sits on a shelf because its fun to look at and its clearly a lot more fun to play with :).
