I ordered this in White and Lilac for my wedding. The Lilac is a lovely shade, and was easily matched to many items for my wedding (flowers, ribbon, flower girl dresses). The The white is for me, The Bride. I wanted a simple dress without a train for my wedding. This one is perfect. I did add a Bridal crinoline style slip to make my dress fuller tan the bridesmaids. Size is an issue! I am a 16/18 (Tops in Juniors XL, Jeans in 16) and I bought the 2X. The company sent me an XL by mistake, and I could barely get it zipped up. They promptly sent the correct size I had originally ordered (2X), and while the length of the 2X was perfect (I am 5'6") with 3.5" heels, the bust was another story. I wear a 38B (approx 41" bust) Bra and this had to be taken in a few inches at the bust line. The crystal pin is nice, not at all cheap looking. I am a 37" waist and the 2X fit with about a ½" room to spare so it's not too lose and it is comfortable when sitting. This dress has boning in the bust to keep the halter in shape. I had a hard time finding a seamstress who would take the bust in at the seam, most alterations places wanted to just put in darts, which made the bust line askew. The lining has tulle which does not have an under layer, so you will need a slip of some sort, unless you want to have scratchy legs all night. All in all-well worth the savings, even when I include alteration fees. It's also worth mentioning the fabric is of a Medium thickness and could be worn without a bra if need be.

This is really a beautiful dress! I was surprised at how flattering it was, as well! One thing I didn't expect was that it was a little lower cut than the picture indicated. This dress was probably meant for a girl with a smaller bust than myself but it's still very lovely. I bought this dress to use as my wedding dress for a quick ceremony in Vegas this month so it's perfect for pictures but not over-the-top fancy. I noticed that the sizes were "junior" size so to be sure it fit, I measured myself. I'm normally a size 16 and I needed this dress in a 2x. I'm just glad I measured myself before I bought it. Also, it comes with a matching scarf!

The dress is very pretty, it fit, and I was excited about it until I noticed a series of small brown stains down one side, fresh out of the box. I attempted to send it back, but was told that since it was stained, I could not, even though the stain was on the dress when I unpacked it, and not caused by me. I took it to my cleaner, and they said it was unlikely it could be removed. So I'm stuck with a dress that cannot be worn. :(

I didn't expect much from this dress seeing as it is only about $70. But once it came in, I understood why everyone has given such rave reviews! The material is wonderful, and full of shine; and the pin on the front is so beautiful, not fake looking at all. It will only need minor alterations, and a slip if you don't want itchy legs all night. Elegant and sassy, this is by far the best dress I have ever bought. Do make sure to measure your body with a tape first to get a good fit, I had to get a much larger size than normal. Also it is very flattering on larger women, I am a size 16, and most dresses look frumpy; not this one...this will make you feel like a model.

I am getting married and needed 2 dresses for my bridesmaids. I had no luck in department stores, they just added more stress to me. I got my wedding dress on line and it fit perfect. So I convinced my bridesmaids to do the same. The dresses came in a timely manor and they fit perfect. JUST MAKE SURE YOU VIEW THE SIZING CHART!! It is diffrent from going to a normal store, the sizing is a bit on the small side, so go a size up(ex: if size: 16 which would normally be a XL, get a size 1X/2X. Promise, it will fit perfect. The gowns are beautiful, I recommend these dresses for plus size women because they make you look smaller than what you really are!! I also got my ringbearer his outfit from this company and his fits perfect also!! Highly recommend this company. Love it!!

I am not one who normally buys dresses online but after reading all the reviews for this dress I decided to take a chance since it was such an awesome price. I ordered it late on Sat and got it on Thurs. I just love it. I ordered the Ice color and am thrilled. It is a Cinderella blue or at least that's what my daughter tells me! I am a 36D on top so I ordered the XL and it fits well. The only thing I will have to do is have the length shortened.

I bought this dress for a wedding, and it did fit well. I would recommend it to any formal occasion, from weddings to graduation balls.

I saw this dress while surfing the internet, and absolutely fell in love with it! I ordered the red one for Prom this year (2007) and I got it 5 days later! While all my other friends were running around looking in malls for their dresses, I found mine in a lot less time, and for a lot less money! I will definitely look here first for any more formal dresses I will need! Thanks so much!

Great dress for the price, used it for a bridesmaid dress in a wedding. The bust isnt for larger chested women and it smashed and contricted the girls in an almost unflattering way... almost. just be sure to check your measurments before you order. Also know these dresses come folded in plastic with what my dry cleaner called "factory/manufacturer creases" which are very difficult to steam out. Make sure you have a way to remove these creases before your event.

I bought this dress in light pink as a Halloween costume (I was a princess), thinking it would be a relatively inexpensive wear-it-once-and-toss-it kind of thing. (Not that I think $70 plus shipping is disposable money, but as a plus-sized woman, it's hard for us to find things in thrift stores for those kinds of events, and I'm not skilled enough to attempt sewing a formal dress, so, I was braced for 'making due' with whatever I could.) First, the shipping was amazingly fast. Then, I was so impressed with the fit and quality that I told everyone at the party as they complimented me, I would definitely buy it again in a different color for evening. I'm even going to be getting the pink one cleaned in case I need it again, or to hand down to a friend. The fabric is really luxurious and shiny, the skirt flares beautifully with the built-in crinoline (nothing extra to buy for that was a HUGE relief!) The sparkly pin on the front sash is also gorgeous -- and removable -- so, I will be wearing that again with other outfits! The whole experience was totally not what I was expecting (in a good way!). I had read reviews that the bust fit weird, and I will admit that I ordered "optimistically" the 2x, even though my measurements were a teeny bit outside the size-chart for that one, but the 3x would have been way too big -- anyway, my boyfriend noticed after we zipped it up that it seemed to lay better with the halter-tie crossed in front of my neck and then tied behind, creating a really sexy keyhole look with killer cleavage. So, when you get it, if it seems gappy in the bust, try that!
