This 5-string bass features an exotic bird's-eye bubinga wood top with handcrafted mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays on the fret board. The 5-piece laminated mahogany and maple neck runs right through the solid mahogany body for outstanding resonance and sleek looks. The dual humbucking pickups punch out a clean and powerful low end. The scale length is 35 inches, and the neck is fitted with a rosewood fret board, 24 frets, and a two-way adjustable truss rod. The sealed-gear tuning machines make it easy to tune. Other features include active equalization with four controls, and an individual through-body bridge for each string. The bass is available with either a natural satin lacquer or opaque black gloss lacquer. Also included is a deluxe padded carrying bag, a $60 value, yours fee with purchase. I love this. I had never heard of this company before, but I took the plunge. Safe to say I am very pleased with this bass, as it sounds great. Great low end, tone, neck through. Nice look to it as well, stands out among others...I recommend!
