I went through a lot of toasters, until, I found a good one, and this one is it. A little expensive, but, when I add up what I wasted on toasters I gave or threw away, it would have been cheaper in the long run. Oh well, live and learn.

I have owned TWO of these toasters. In the first one, a plastic part broke off a supposedly "all metal" toaster. With reluctance, Hamilton Beach provided a replacement. Now that one doesn't work! This has all taken place since July 2007! I have a Russell Hobbs toaster that has been a workhorse for years...we moved it to our summer home because a four slot toaster made more sense there. I fully intend to replace this piece of H B junk with another Russell Hobbs.

The only thing I do not like is the relatively short electrical cord. If your electric wall plug is further than 15" you will probably need an extension cord. It makes excellent toast including big slices, English muffins, and bagels. Easy to clean. Looks good. Have had it for only 2 months, but so far it is doing a great job. If the electrical cord was 24" I would give it five stars.

This toaster works like a dream. The color is great and it works just as it should. This is the best toaster I have ever used. I would definitely suggest buying this product!

While it looks like Hamilton Beach has discontinued this color while otherwise still making the same toaster, we found this terrific looking toaster on Amazon. Pricey, but the color looks terrific on our new aqua/white granite countertop. The toaster is solidly made and simple in its functions. The slice bays are nice and wide for bagels and, despite it's retro appearance, the toaster has a setting for bagels. Also has "defrost" and "reheat" so pretty much all your toasting options are covered. A lower tray pulls out very easily for cleaning. It would have been giant and even more costly, but it would be nice if the same color was available in a 4-slice model. Looks like HB has gone only for primary colors in the new lineup. I rated this toaster down one star for 3 minor reasons--1. its price; 2. the fact that it tends to undertoast (which I guess is better than burning), so that I, who likes his toast and bagels pretty crispy, has to retoast the bread for perfection; and 3. the labels under the option button are too small and dull to read, so you have to tilt the toaster up and look real close. All in all, a great purchase and everyone who enters our kitchen spots this toaster and raves about its appearance.

Best toasting job I've ever seen in a toaster--no complaints there. My complaints are that while the slots are wide enough to fit a bagel--it's barely long enough to fit my wheat bread! I thought that the display picture was just taken at an angle but it turns out that it's actualy shot straight on. It is taller or raised in the back and short in the front, I think it adds to the retro feel of it. Also, this mehugala is a beast, very heavy and very big; it looks great though so this isn't too concerning, at least for me.

I ordered this to match my coffeemaker and am extremely pleased with it's performance. A little larger than I expected, but worth it!

We have been very impressed by this toaster. We've only had it for about a month now, but it certainly gives the impression of being well built, and that it will last. A 3 year warranty, rare on a small appliance, adds to that feeling. It works well on regular toast, bagels, English muffins, etc. A bonus is that it comes in so many unusual colors. I would recommend this toaster to a friend.
