We purchased this toaster as a replacement and we'll be replacing this one quickly. It doesn't toast. We have had to "toast" slices of bread 3 times on highest setting to get a mediocre result. I don't recommend this product.

I was very disappointed with this product, the toasted bread didnt come up on its own, I needed to stand near by to manually stop the process, I wanted to return it the same day...:(

I had this toaster until my mother "stole" it from me. We love it, she refuses to give it back because it actually toasts unlike the one it replaced. I have another one at my apt and its a proctor silex and its junk, its very inconsistent. I can't wait to buy her another one so I could have my toaster back lol.
