I bought this product as it was described as "searing." As it turns out it did not have the sear function and subsequently would not heat to 500 degrees F, i.e. the product description was incorrect. The return process with Amazon was efficient and I ordered the HB 25331 searing grill, and it works perfectly.

This is a very good indoor grill. I bought it to grill steaks indoor during really bad weather. One drawback, it's a pain to clean. The grill plates aren't removeable. Other than that, it does a great job!

This works great for panini, but as far as steaks, just so-so. The drip pan is not in a good place and it sits out from the grill. Have to store it separately.

I have owned this a little over a 3 months. Their warranty in the manual says one year. I like to make sure I use this to its fullest potential. Not even 2 weeks after using it the Tempurature Control Dial came off because the metal mechanism broke causing the plastic dial not to work anymore. I tried for well over a week to get a hold of someone at their phone number (800) 851-8900 but was unsuccessful due to inclement weather. Then when I emailed them they said it was out of warranty. My receipt says differently. Needless to say I will never buy another Hamilton Beach piece of junk again. This isn't their first product that let me down. Save your money for a better quality product.

I purchased four of these in one order, and had them in two days--great customer service, O.co!! Three of the four are already in use and we love these things. I personally have cooked several types and sizes of sandwiches, boneless chicken thighs, hamburgers, and boneless pork chops. Everything was done perfectly with nice browning, cooked through within 10-15", and no oil needed. This is going to be my "go-to" appliance, as I live alone and it's so easy, quick and a breeze to clean!

Love this grill! easy to use easy to clean time saving and best of all you can use it all year even when the snow is three feet deep!
