Say hello to easy access and goodbye to hard-to-reach toast. The Hamilton Beach Convection Toaster Oven is an efficient, attractive addition to your busy kitchen, thanks to its ability to maximize convenience. Designed with a curved glass door to make it easy to watch food as it cooks, this stylish Convection Oven provides easy access to your toast, snacks and meals. When it’s ready, your food is easily accessible through the large door opening, and the auto-advance rack brings the meal toward you.

Features and Benefits
  • Designed for easy access with a large, curved glass door and auto-advance rack improve access to food
  • Large capacity that fits 6 slices of bread or a large 12-inch pizza
  • Convection cooks food more evenly
  • Toast, bake, and broil settings
  • "Stay On" setting and 30 minute timer with ready bell
  • Uses up to 71 percent less energy and is 28 percent faster than a typical kitchen oven when reheating precooked frozen chicken nuggets
Large Capacity

The Hamilton Beach Convection Toaster Oven can bake a 12-inch pizza, broil hamburgers or make up to six slices of toast. And unlike many other toaster ovens, the Hamilton Beach Convection Oven lets you choose between bake and convection. The bake function is great for making delicious cakes and desserts. Use convection for crisp, golden-brown pizza and for an evenly cooked, caramelized crust on baked goods.

Toast, Bake, Broil, and Convection Settings

Intuitive controls make the Hamilton Beach Convection Toaster Oven incredibly easy to use. Use the dial to select a temperature ranging from 150°F to 450°F. A separate function selector lets you choose between 4 settings, while the dial lets you choose between the stay-on setting and a 30-minute cooking timer with ready bell. Even cleanup has been made easy by the front-removable crumb tray that slides out without the crumbs sliding back in the toaster oven.

It looks great in the stainless, and so far seems to be working well.

I have used my toaster oven a few times, both as a toaster and as an oven, and it works great!

I have baked pizza in it, broiled chops and steaks, and made toast in it.

***UPDATE (2-12-2014)***

AFTER OWNING THIS TOASTER OVEN FOR ONE YEAR, THE CONVECTION FAN HAS GIVEN OUT. IT INITIALLY STARTED TO MAKE LOUD NOISES, LIKE IT WAS HAVING MOTOR ISSUES ABOUT 10 MONTHS AFTER I PURCHASED IT, AND THEN IT WENT COMPLETELY OUT. SO IF THE CONVECTION FEATURE IS WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO YOU, I'D STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO CONSIDER GOING WITH ANOTHER UNIT.

************************
I've had this little convection oven for about ten days now, and for the 49 dollar price point that I purchased it at, it was a steal. In terms of toasting, it does well as long as you follow the directions in the manual (for 2 slices) and place the toast in the middle of the rack and place the rack in the middle position. It doesn't take up a lot of space on your counter, while still being large enough to fit a 12 inch pizza or a 12 X 9 in. pan. I purchased it so I would be able to cook real dishes in it (ex. chicken/steak), and it is not exactly perfect temp wise, but it's close enough for me. I decided to test the temperature dial against my digital maverick thermometer and my basic oven thermometer. Both of my thermometers were in sync. Here are the results:

Convection/Bottom Rack
1. 450 = locks in at 475-478 degrees (I actually like that it's 25 degrees hotter here, a lot of toaster ovens don't reach their max temps (too hot can be regulated, not hot enough is an un-fixable issue).
2. 350 = locks in at 350-352 degrees
3. 250 = locks in at 248-250

Bake/Bottom Rack
1. 450 = 450 degrees quickly and holds for a while then drops down as low as 425! Ugh!
2. 350 = 323-325 degrees for about 15 min., then it locks in at 350 degrees!
3. 250 = 248-250

Broil/Bottom Rack
1.

Arrived in 2 days with Prime. Packaging in perfect shape. Stainless steel and full glass door look great on my counter. Fit and finish was fine. Put in an oven thermometer and found all the marked temperatures to be spot-on. The convection setting really speeds up the cook time and browns and crisps nicely. Timer bell was loud enough to hear from the living-room. It's the nicest budget priced toaster we've had yet. Have no problem reading and setting dials and the raised indicator has a nice feel and contrast. People need to look to the front of the dial and forget about the black ring that has ridges to help turn the dial. You set with the front indicator - NOT the turning ridges! We're in our late 60's and do not find the need to paint the raised indicator at all!
Highly recommend.

We purchased this based on reviews on amazon and the bb big box store we got it locally. It is a good oven for baking and broiling which is what we use it for almost daily.
Its a nice size but not too much of a footprint, has the pizza bump which we use frequently for home made pizza and frozen.
The convection seems to help it cook, heat more evenly but its just a fan that blows the heat about.
Sounds like it could wear though, the fan part. It toasts fine for me, but that is preference I suppose and it does pull it fwd for you a bit.
Its 1400 watts and weighs very little and the cord is about 3ft, measures to 17.75"L x 13"D x 10" H, I had trouble finding accurate info. Its functions are as listed on prod info.
The rest of my review sounds negative because everyone has pointed out how good it is, and it is, it works and thats hard to find anymore! I wanted to make the negatives known so you can decide if you can live with them :):

Its stainless look is great but it has its downside. The oven gets so very hot on the outside (not insulated like toaster ovens I had in the past that cost less back then, not now you cant find them). There are no cool touch handles or touches on the outside, you can pretty much burn yourself on the whole outside. If you dont use the door handle carefully with your knucles back it will burn you from the glass or top of oven. I did it first heat up to cook off mfg'ing odors and Im very used to toaster oven cooking. The ease of burning yourself isnt new to me with toaster ovens, I just prefer those with more careful design to prevent this.
The bottom seems cool enough for the counter. Just dont let anything touch the sides etc.

This oven is great. It heats foods very quickly and thoroughly, and when using convection works even faster! I love how it looks and the fact that it has a bumpout in the back to accomodate a pizza that is not visible from looking at it (other than behind) is a great feature. You wouldn't know by looking at it that it would hold a 12" pizza! The crumb tray is easy to use and the knobs are easy to turn, allthough the bottom timer knob is a little tighter to turn. Nothing major though. it also doesn't give off too much heat, but does get hot to the touch of course cause it is an oven afterall. I would definatley recommend this toaster oven, it has cooked everything wonderfully so far, toasts breads great and cooks everything I've made pretty evenly and quickly. Very happy with my purchase!
