Equipped with a bowl rest to prevent dripping on the counter, this lightweight five-speed hand mixer is a compact 8 by 5-1/2 inches (without beaters) for easy storage in a drawer or cabinet. It comes with beaters and a whisk for whipping air into cream and eggs. The speed control operates with a fingertip, and the handle is shaped to fit the hand comfortably. The mixer's motor is 125 watts, ample for basic tasks but not sufficient for heavy work. The beaters and whisk are made of stainless steel and are dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack

tHIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MIXERS I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. i HAVE ALWAYS FOUND HAMILTON BEACH PRODUCTS TO BE SUPERIOR IN QUALITY AND PRICE. tHIS MIXER IS NO EXCEPTION. iT IS LIGHT WEIGHT AND EASY TO USE AND CLEAN. i LOVE THE FACT THAT IT WILL REST ON THE SIDE OF A BOWL AND THE OPTIONAL WHIPPING BEATERS THAT COME WITH IT. iT ALSO HAS AN EXTRA LONG CORD SO THAT YOU CAN MOVE AROUND A BIT WITH IT. tHE 5 SPEEDS COME IN HANDY FOR MAKING DIFFERENT RECIPES. iT HAS A VERY COMFORTABLE GRIP AND BALANCE. tHE BEATERS POP IN AND OUT WITH A TOUCH. iT WILL ALSO SIT ON THE CONTERTOP AS WELL AS THE SIDE OF A BOWL SO THAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE DRIPS AND MESS THAT YOU HAVE WITH A LOT OF HAND MIXERS.

I received this mixer last week and let me tell you it's very handy. My daughter loved the fact that it rests on the bowl and I love the fact that you can rest it on the countertop once you are done with it. The pieces are easy to snap on and off. It has tremendous power for the price, this is a great mixer.
