My mother has always said that if her food processor breaks, she will go out that day and buy a new one. Me? I have got along just fine (or so I thought) hand chopping my vegetables or using The Ultimate Chopper (the famous or perhaps infamous infomercial product from the 2000's) for smaller jobs. Recently though, I thought it would be great to slice vegetables without having to stand at the counter for hours on end (full disclosure, my boyfriend was sick of seeing me almost slice my finger off). Enter this fantastic machine.

Words can not express how much I LOVE THIS THING! It is so FAST, ridiculously powerful (slices potatoes in seconds) and makes cooking so much easier that we can not believe it. I even tried making a quiche in it, plopped all the ingredients together and it was oven ready in minutes. You can do anything with this bad boy. My roommate made veggie chips: beet, carrot, sweet potato and used the slicing blade, voila, perfectly shaped veggie chips in seconds (no lie, it is SPEEDY). It is also awesome for grating cheese and has the perfect amount of attachments (4 in total) plus the regular blade. It also has grippers on its feet, so it does not slide around when you are using it. And, its dishwasher safe, but we use it so often, we'd rather hand wash it.

I honestly can not recommend this product higher. And, if it ever breaks (which I can't even imagine happening) I am buying this exact machine again.

I bought this after my 30 year old food processer died and another name brand I bought was so awful I threw it away. This is better than my old one. more compact and more powerful. Easy to clean.

This food processor is very effective. It is extremely fast! Pretty powerful. I use it to make nut milks, salsa, hummus, blended yogurt, etc Although if you blend anything with a lot of liquid like nut milk, it will spill out of the lid. Also, if you blend for a second too long it will not be chunky salsa, it will be finely ground. One or two quick pulses should do chunky jobs like salsa, and a few more for creamy things like hummus.

It is good for baby food, but will only puree if there is a large amount in it, though it may leave small chunks.

The slicing feature is amazingly fast and powerful, great for slicing veggies to dip or put in salad or soup, great for quick slicing of fruits for the kids and healthy snacks. Shredding feature is also amazing. I love it for salads, to make hashbrowns, and for making shredded fruit meals for my kids. Overall it was a great buy and it makes my duties in the kitchen much easier every day. Easy clean up, just pull apart and rinse with hot water, if needed scrub with soft side of sponge. Just beware of blade, very sharp! I plan to use it more for all kinds of creative ventures! Totally worth the price!

Does everything it's supposed to easily! May be a little noisy (many quiet ones available for $100+), but at this price, you cannot beat it.

I read some pretty mediocre reviews on this but since I am an avid health baker I needed to replace to my lousy blender with a good grade food processor. Even after the just ok reviews I read I decided to purchase. Assembly was not hard at all! Before attempting to pulverize anything I plugged it in and gave it a whirl. This thing is a BEAST and will put any blender (even a ninja) to shame!!! There is so much power and force behind this little model I was very impressed! I use this mainly to blend/process black beans and chick peas to make vegan cakes and desserts and my own oat/almond/cashew flour and it works flawlessly! This was a great buy for the money!!

It took me a long time to decide which one, and there are millions out there in every size and price range. I decided on less expensive as I do not use it daily but needed a new one after my old "Sears" one of 35+ years finally gave up... Strong motor, lower blade is cleaning the bottom nicely, and the 8 cup size helps to make larger batches for a larger crowed or smaller ones for just the two of us.
I am so happy with it that I ordered a second one to give as a gift to a friend of mine who does not have one but needs one.....
Easy to use, stays put to the counter with the rubber feet and easy to clean....
Good value for the money.

I have used this item twice since I got it, the first time using the food processing function and the second using the shredder. The food processing function worked fine - no complaints! However, the shredding function left me with a bit of a mess...

I followed the directions to shred a small block of cheese and it went fine at first. Near the end of the block, however, the cheese started to get caught at the bottom of the food chute, and before I could turn off the food processor, a small piece wedged itself under the lid and began spinning around on top of the shredding disk, taking chunks out of the plastic lid near the food chute! The shredder blade broke as well, becoming detached from the plastic piece that holds it onto the motor shaft, and I doubt it's still usable.

To anyone who is thinking of buying this product, beware that the shredding function can be dangerous! It seems like it might work better for harder foods like vegetables, but I guess I won't get to try that out... When I looked into trouble shooting, the manual suggests freezing "soft" cheeses if they aren't shredding well. I would just do that as a precaution with any cheese, since the one I used was shredding perfectly at first. Don't let this happen to you!

I am looking into the warranty, but it says I will be responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning or replacing the item... Not so great.
