Very sharp and a quality watch too!

I have smaller wrists, and the band I believe is definitely made for someone with small or medium sized wrists.

This is a well made watch with a superb face IMO. It has a rather unique size, being 42mm wide but only 7mm thick. The face is pretty large to is doesn't exactly "wear small". That said, I love mine. It's quartz and I prefer automatic but love that it doesn't have a second hand (another unique feature). And while I originally felt the size made it rather pancake like, I've grown to like it a lot. Detailing is very good (cool back case, for instance), build quality is good, and overall I think it's a really cool design. Definitely on the dressy side but I still rock it with jeans and a button-up untucked. Oh, one more thing; the lume (glow in the dark) is very weak. And the strap quality is pretty good - doesn't look or feel cheap. Happy shopping!

This watch has a really classy look. It takes you back to the 50s/60s, specially because of the art-deco-like numbers and the simple but nonetheless elegant dial. Some will like the fact that it has no second hand. And you will see it is very slim, what makes it very comfortable to wear. A memorable timepiece at a very affordable price for a Hamilton.

I purchased this watch for my 23 yo son. He is extremely fussy with what he wears. When this watch arrived I wanted to keep it for myself! It is very classy looking and large enough for an average man's wrist. My son is 5'9 and 175lbs and this fits him perfectly. I myself like watches of case diameter of 44-50mm, but then again I am bigger than my son. What really struck me about this watch was the combination of case diameter and case slimness, along with swiss quartz movement and price. Very sharp and a quality watch too! Highly recommend.

First off, I agree with all previous reviews. Great style watch of excellent proportion, very plain, love the no second hand, case is superb traditional design. I like the Arabic numbers as opposed to sticks as it gives it a more casual, slightly rugged look IMO. Good with a business suit or jeans and a T. I chose to dress mine down a notch by substituting a plain leather stitched brown band for the dark dressy alligator one. The result is a sort-of dressy looking field watch.. kind of cool. Put the alligator or black band back on and it's ready for a black tie affair. I am not one to wear an ultra-slick dress watch.

The last watch I bought for myself was a Rolex Men's Date some twenty-five years ago ( which I have since given to my daughter) and this Jazzmaster fit and finish is right-up there! This is a remarkably fine piece of jewelry for the money. The subtle details like the slight dome crystal, the way the light interacts with the "silver" face changing from a bluish-grey to silver to a silver-tan. Build quality appears top notch compared to the Victorinox Alliance, Movado watches of similar/higher style/price.

If you like that understated look, but one of real quality for a few hundred bucks, I highly recommend a close look at one of these. I guess I am tired of large, thick, heavy, "in-your-face" bold graphic design watches. This one's a sleeper.

Solid construction with an easy to read dial. Leather band is of high quaity but does run a little small. If you have a large wrist, you may need another band. It makes a great daily watch for folks who like a dressier watch than a sport/chronograph. Good value for the price.

I ordered this watch sight unseen other than pictures on Amazon, and I was really pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The brushed silver dial and case look downright vibrant in person. The casing is a nice size, but its slimness gives the watch a unique profile. The band is of a very nice quality (also, the leather is quite stiff out of the box), and the understated clasp style adds a nice touch. I have smaller wrists, and the band I believe is definitely made for someone with small or medium sized wrists.

Overall, I would say this is a more dressy looking watch in person than the Amazon picture might make you think. It's definitely something I would wear more often than not with a collared shirt, but this could easily be a daily wearer type watch if your style is on the dressy side. It looks fantastic in person and the build quality is extremely evident even to a casual observer.

This watch is beautiful, gives an exact amount of elegance that a traditionalist would adore. For someone in their early 20's or someone with modernness it gives simplicity yet flashiness that your granddad would appreciate. The house of hamilton produces prestigious watches and backs the name up. For someone as myself with a mild collection with little knowledge of watches this really brings me to a collectors level where soon my collection will be relevant to not just me but everyone. I love it. Would have given 10 stars but the 5 system's what I'm working with.

big hands but smaller wrists this watch is a perfect find. Hamilton is timeless and classy, well made, and looks great for a work watch which i purchased for my early thirties husband
