I first viewed this watch online. I love the retro look. I currently have a Raymond Weil Freelancer automatic and was looking for a daily use watch that was less dressy. Before ordering I went to a local retailer to look at it in person. All they had was the 46mm Automatic. It was great looking. I decided I wanted a quartz, because I didn't want the maintenance associated with automatic watches. Unfortunately, the nice smooth second hand that is on the automatic was not the same case on this quartz model. What really bothered me was the second hand did not line up with the face tics. (Deal Breaker) Maybe it was just the one I received, but it has lead me to stick with automatic movements. I put the watch on my wrist once and I could see that the band was not going to last very long. Just be prepared to get a new band in the near future. I think this is true for most Hamilton watches. I would expect a little better quality of material considering the reputation of the brand. They all seem to have the same type of leather band. Sadly I had to return it.

Very nice and beautiful watch, 42mm fits better my hand, although quartz , which is very nice as well, but the leather is not good quality as the 3rd day I bought it, it started to show old, but overall a wonderful watch at a very good and mainly affordable price for a Swiss made Big name like Hamilton

The Hamilton story is a 120-year road that meanders from Lancaster in the United States to Biel, Switzerland, the world capital of watchmaking. Today, Hamilton is known worldwide thanks to its pioneering role in the worlds of aviation, cinema, as well as electric and digital technology. Hamilton was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Its first collection of pocket watches, the Broadway Limited, was known as "The Watch of Railroad Accuracy."
