A swiss-made timepiece, with observation back to show the ETA 2824 movement and an easy-to-read face. At 42mm, this is larger than the traditional Hamilton Khaki, but as it is not overly heavy, and lies flat on the wrist, you will not be reminded that you are wearing it. Hamilton provides probably the best cost to value ratio of automatic watches available, and this model shows off the traditional stylings, unlike some newer designs, which seem like they are attempting to show off by being unusual. I have also found that this watch looks good with any number of aftermarket straps.

Great watch at a great price. Beautiful see-through caseback shows the Swiss ETA2824 movement and is great for showing your friends who aren't watch enthusiasts what an "automatic" movement is.

I got the leather band but now I'm thinking the bracelet might have been a good idea because it's been very hot recently and sweat is drenching the leather band.

This is hard to beat at the discounted price. And still Swiss made!!! Upgraded ETA movement. Handsome. A classic. Reliable. Sapphire. In 4 or so years this might need a service as it is an automatic movement. That is probably $200 or more. So this might sort be sort of a disposable watch (sell on ebay at that point) or pay the $200 - $250. (Strange on a $350 watch.)

Maybe some Tissots can compare in price-to-value but I don't know of any.

P.S. I recommend the large 42mm, not the 38mm (for most men).

This watch looks much better in person, it is large without being gaudy... It is quite comfy on my wrist and goes with anything I wear. The band is thick and is quite durable. Thank you Amazon.com and Hamilton, Great price great watch.

This is a great watch for starting a collection or a great great for every day. Pros- its swiss made, automatic and the look is very clean, sharp and easy to read. not overly gaudy, but stylish enough to garner attention from everyday observers, bt the way the watch looks so much better in person...did i mention the price, its retails for $525... I actually got mine for $339 and free shipping from Priceton Watches only because they're authorized dealers, i wanted to buy the watch from a trusted seller to avoid warranty issues, plus they were the cheapest online dealer..you can also find them referenced by Hamilton website.

overall great watch, i may want to change the band, i want a more darker sleek look, probably black or darker brown

The watch was delivered not working. I sent it back. Rather than replace it with a new watch it has been sent out for repair. 4 weeks and counting.....

Amazon's "guarantee" hasn't been much help. Maybe I'll buy books on Amazon in the future, but nothing this expensive ever again.

The timepiece is excellent. But just a point in case you plan to replace the band. The lugs are shown here to be 20mm...THEY ARE ACTUALLY 22mm. I had a custom band made and now I am Skrude !!!

Liked the simplicity and look of this watch. Read several reviews on the web and found nothing negative. Have been wearing it 24/7 since after replacing the leather strap with a nylon one. Love the look and feel of the watch. Lost about 10 seconds in the last 10 days, not to bad for an automatic. Numbers really stand out in the dark.
