Pros: keeps very good time for a mechanical, looks great, love the black/red color combo and everything about the graphic layout of the dial, rubber strap is actually really comfortable, bezel has solid click & perfectly aligns, lumination is plenty bright, and has rock solid sapphire crystal & great looking see thru case back. If you scratch the crystal of a Hamilton quit using it as a hammer.
Cons: I've found that after a full day of wear it barely makes it 24 hours without a supplemental winding. I would expect more power reserve, and strangely side by side the field king made it 6 hours more, but that's not the real reason it concerns me. The crown is sometimes difficult to screw down like the threads aren't properly aligned, and then it gets hard to screw all the way down because the bezel prevents your fingers from getting a grip. Kind of annoying if you have to wind it every night, and at 100m resistance I doubt the crown is sealed if left unscrewed. My final critique, and this is just being tedious really, but there is no dot or material change at the 12 on the rotating bezel, it's only a printed triangle. It's not a significant function of the watch, and its just my opinion, but I think it is a missed opportunity for detail that makes the bezel look a little cheap.
Overall I've worn it every day since I got it & highly recommend it, or any Hamilton, because you'll be hard pressed to find a better quality automatic with indestructible sapphire crystal for less.
