5.0 out of 5 stars The Bible for Hamilton Manual Collectors
Renee's labor of love is a "godsend" for those of us who's passion is the collecting of vintage American wristwatches. 3.0 out of 5 stars Nice But Not Great
Well researched but fails to provide specific information, i.e., dates of manufacture for different movements. Sent an e-mail to the author which he answered but he failed to address this issue. Great on graphics but short on details.

Renee's labor of love is a "godsend" for those of us who's passion is the collecting of vintage American wristwatches. As my collection is centered around the classic tanks for Gruen, Bulova and Hamilton, this book was the ultimate source on the hundreds of models produced, their respective movements, their histories, original ads, and production figures, when available. He wisely stays away from "price guides" which would "date" the book, and be subjective. Its usefulness or interest would be a bit limited to non-Hamilton fanatics, but a worthwhile addition to any horological library.

Mr. Rondeau has assembled a very high quality research book on the subject of Hamilton watches. It is a "must have" for anyone who is serious about collecting (or just learning more about) Hamilton timepieces.

This review is from: Hamilton Wristwatches (Hardcover)
This book doesn't tell you how to service a watch. But, it has tremendous value in providing a catalog of Hamilton watches. Anyone with a Hmailton watch or even a passing interest in a Hamilton, needs this book.
