Blistering, sublime, ostentatious, pensive, bombastic. Words I have always used to describe and associate with this great, GREAT keyboard virtuoso. This is pure Keith Emerson, start to finish and all the proper highlights in between.I read the "Pictures of an Exhibitionist" book around the time I purchased this album and they seem to compliment one another in an odd sort of way-highs and lows, beauty and reckless abandonment, structure and calamity. I am sure most everyone is familiar with the music of KE (unless you have been living under a rock) and this Anthology is a perfectly packaged gem that will satisfy any urge to listen to the guy in all his splendor. A good value and a necessary purchase for aging progsters as well as anyone that can appreciate keyboard dexterity at its absolute finest. Good show.
