Product Description

Hammock Bliss Tree Straps make it a breeze to set up your hammock most anywhere. Tree Straps are a tree friendly suspension system and extend the distance for hanging Hammock Bliss as well as many other hammocks. Tree Straps protect the tender bark of trees by evenly distributing the weight over a wider area while also protecting both the rope and the tree from abrasion. When hanging your hammock from a smooth surface such as a pole or post, tree straps act as a tension belt to prevent slippage. Tree Straps are completely adjustable and are ideal for quick set up and fast take down of your hammock. For 2015 Hammock Bliss Tree Straps are now constructed of heavy-duty weather resistant polypropylene webbing. Polypro is the ideal webbing for tree strap due its strength and stretch resistance. These straps are super compact - they fit into a 3 x 5 inch travel bag and they are very lightweight - 2 straps and travel bag weigh only 3 oz. Tree Straps are the ultimate hammock accessory for camping, backpacking, hunting, traveling, backyards, decks and patios. If there is one thing you get to make your hammock easier to use, this is it.

This is a set of 2 very simple nylon straps with loops at both ends. The photo shows one way to use them but it's not the best way. I found that by by wrapping the tie around the tree, then slipping one end through the loop in the other (just like a dog choke chain) you can get these to adjust to most any size tree. You will probably need an S hook or karabiner to attach these to your hammock.

Not exactly what I expected, but works better than expected. You can buy an extension chain at the local home improvement store and extent the reach of your hammock even further than the 20' range this one goes to. I extended my range to over 25' with the help of this product. It really came in handy!

These straps are too short to go around anything except minature trees. The weight rating is 1/3 of what it should be to safely hang an adult. They also do not offer any hang adjustments like other hammock straps. There are other straps on Amazon for half this price that have a 1200 pound rating and at least 3 separate loops on each end. Wish I had looked a little harder before purchasing these. They are not that useful in the real world of big trees and longer hang distances.

These straps did the job I wanted, but would point out that they are not meant for very big trees. They are very strong, has held over 400pounds with no problem.

Bought these straps with a Eagle Nest Outfitters Hammock. Looked great due to the pricing, however you pay for what you get. These straps are guaranteed to work up to 350lb but with one person (under 350lb) hanging quite high using these straps with the hammock one side snapped and the person dropped preceded to drop to the ground. We had only had the straps in use about a week before one snapped. Not only are they defective, it is dangerous to use this product when trying to camp when your a little higher than 5 feet of the ground. I'd recommend you spend more money on better quality straps than these cheap ones that don't quite hold up.
