I love this flatware. It has a great weight and feel and doesn't even take on too much damage when attacked by the garbage disposal. I just purchased two more sets today as pieces keep going missing and I plan to purchase another two sets soon since I love these and I'm not sure what I'll do if they ever get discontinued. I've had my original set for at least 6 years now (probably closer to 7 years) and they show no signs of excessive wear or rust.
10/18/10 edited to add that I just received my order this Hampton Forge Ritz Satin flatware does NOT match my original set. The shape is not as tubular, the banding at the top and base of the pieces is missing and it's not as heavy. It's nice flatware but I bought it to add to the sets I already have and they don't match. I hope they hold up like my original set but now I'm quite bummed that I have flatware that doesn't match. |
