Classic Phish from the Mother Ship,
By
This review is from: Hampton/Winston-Salem '97 (Audio CD)
If you're reading this, you don't need me to tell you that this 97 Tour stuff is top dawg. Phish has kept this in their Vault for many years, now it has been shared with the world. The music will say it all, the long jams that defined the band is all here, nothing negative to say. The price is right, the sound quality is pristine and the band simply is on 100%. Some songs are 20-30 min, and seem to flow with amazing grace. Any newbies will dig this and become an instant Phan. This box delivers, if you dig this then check out the massive collection at LivePhish.com. Check out 6/19-20/04 for some solid jam. The 97 MSG shows are gold too. I could go on all day about this band. Jam on! Word is, one day in the future that Phish will return to the Hampton, and the whole place is going to blast off.Coconut Phil Simpsonville, SC

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hampton/Winston-Salem '97 (Audio CD)
This CD set is amazing...Very similar to how the Roxy set was packaged. The sound quality is amazing and with 7 CD's and slightly over 8 hours of music...You CAN'T go wrong!!! Standouts include Emotional Rescue, Billy Breathes, Izabella, My Soul, Guyute and the Early versions of Moma Dance (Black-Eyed Katy)!!!
