About the Author
KEN ROBBINS has been living and making photographs in East Hampton, New York since 1972. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1945, raised in West Orange, New Jersey, and graduated Cornell University in 1967 with a degree in English. After five years as a book editor in New York City, he moved to the East End of Long Island, and commenced a freelance career that continues today. His images are frequently reproduced on book jackets, record album covers, and in magazines, and he is the writer/illustrator of more than twenty highly acclaimed children's books. He lives in Springs with his wife, Maria, and their dog - a standard poodle named Misha.
