This book starts out with Sano opening up to Mizuki about why he got mad at his brother in the previous book. After a humorous dodgeball game between class 2-C and 2-A, the book focuses on the Sano family. Sano runs into his father at a track networking event, and after his father turns the event into a competition, Sano pushes himself to prove to his father that he's still a great athlete.
Nakatsu shines in this book. While Sano broods over his drama with his father, Mizuki is left seeking advice and companionship. Nakatsu is there for her, and when Sano yells at her for prying into his affairs, Nakatsu is there to hold a crying Mizuki. Go Nakatsu! |
