MURDERESS,
By seacreature "seacreature" (Hanauma Bay HI) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hanauma Bay: An Island Treasure (Paperback)
Why would anyone want to look at this book now knowing that a murderess participated in it? She makes me sick. Talk about your classic sociopath! No thanks!

Ditto the opinion of prior reviewers, do not support a convicted murderess by purchasing this book. Liysa Northson literally got away with MURDER. She is alive and Chris Northson is DEAD. Do not put money in her pocket!

Hanauma Bay: An Island Treasure,
This review is from: Hanauma Bay: An Island Treasure (Paperback)
The poor guy who wrote it with her is raising her child with him and with chris northon, whom she murdered in 2000...I tried to be impartial and remember that he is not accountable, but I just couldn't get past the fact that a murderer wrote this and is trying to make a dime.

I really enjoyed my time in Hanauma Bay and did research on it later. This is a fantastic start to anyone interested in the bay, history, ecology, social issues.

Don't let a murderer profit from sales of this book!,

Don King takes the most breathtaking pictures! Too bad his murderer of an ex-wife co-wrote this book with him, it just ruins the entire project. I hope everyone sees what insatiable greed does to to already warped minds! I hope nobody ever again falls prey to her manipulative ways, Don is lucky that he escaped with his life intact!

Not a relative,
By A Customer
This review is from: Hanauma Bay: An Island Treasure (Paperback)
I think this is an extremely good book of its type, a coffee-table book with gorgeous photos. The photos are far above average, although the text is a little thin in places. It's an impressive book about an impressive place, second-best only to actually going to Hanauma Bay. I leaf through the book frequently, reminding myself of the great natural beauty it documents.
Unlike Wayland DeWitt, who is Liysa DeWitt King Northon's father, I'm fairly impartial.

Murderess in Paradise,

This review is from: Hanauma Bay: An Island Treasure (Paperback)
Don't miss out on a chance to delve a bit into the mysterious past life of noted murderess, photographer Liysa King Northon. Incarcerated for the brutal slaying of her third husband, pilot Chris Northon, Liysa King Northon led a nearly idyllic life before her greed and mental instability poisoned all around her. This work, surreal in beauty, is interesting now as a pathetic testament to one woman's vision, talent, and ultimately perverted sense of self.

Should be retitled 'I am a Pathological Lying Murderer',
This review is from: Hanauma Bay: An Island Treasure (Paperback)
All profits from this book should go to help those who are killed by pathological, devious, scheming murderers like Liysa 'the liar' King!!!!!!

Don't worry about the revenue going to Liysa,

This review is from: Hanauma Bay: An Island Treasure (Paperback)
Don't worry about the revenue of the book going to Liysa. I'm sure that the money will go to lawyers or to hers and Chris's son Dane Northon. Chris Northon's estate has also sued Liysa so she will have next to nothing when and if she ever gets out.I'm sure her family will have to support her.
My opinion about Liysa is this: Not all people can tell the truth from lies. I think that television can influence that particular kind of person much more than others. Especially a kid who grew up with parents who were too busy to explain the difference. I think a major component in murderers like Liysa and lets say Scott Peterson is that their egos make them think that everyone will believe them and no one will suspect them because they are physically attractive and wholesome looking and have achieved a certain status. I think Scott Peterson thought he was too wonderful to ever have been suspected in the murder of his wife. I think Liysa had a similar type of ego; she thought that everyone would just believe her. And they did for awhile. I think that there may also be people in this world who had a really decent upbringing but who also believe that they are above suspicion. These people often think they can bend the truth to their will (like a Jedi mind trick). They actually believe their own lies.I guess the lesson here is if you have children, make sure they know that the truth is the truth and not just what you want it to be.
