Product Description

The mini disc hand buoys are commercial quality buoys the same as used in clubs and spas countrywide. They are sold in pairs. They are considered light resistance. The white foam discs are sealed through a special process that keeps them clean. It also reduces water absorption which allows full resistance even after classes all day long.

I have been in water fitness for over 15 years. I have arthritis in my hands, esp. my thumbs; and have carpal tunnel syndrome. Using water buoys (and I have tried many varieties) was becoming a problem for me as a water fitness instructor.
When I saw the MINI DISCs, I knew I could finally use hand buoys in the water successfully without damaging my hands and wrists more, plus I now had a product for my patrons to use that wouldn't compromise their hands and wrists.
They are the perfect size and weight for ANYONE with wrist and hand problems who need to exercise in the water or can ONLY exercise in the water.

They allow me to strengthen and tone my arms and upper body with less stress and strain on my joints and muscles.

An excellent product. A must-have at pools that offer arthritis or fibromyalgia water classes; or for people doing water exercise who have hand and shoulder problems. Any pool that already has small, medium, large, and EX-large hand buoys, should get a few pairs of the MINI DISCS.

Original Post: "The pair of aqua weights were uneven in size and weight! Maybe, this is the reason the product is $10 cheaper than the original maker of the Hand Buoy Mini Disc weights. My mom was very disappointed when she received her gift (from me). She immediately noticed the difference in size and weight between each dumbell. She will not be able to use this product. I didn't contact the seller for a refund."
